lol at super rapid awesome beast. Glwts mate I know you take pride in your cars so I'm sure it will sell easily, minus the 'hey bro, is it dead fast' idols.
Indeed. I'll lose money at this price but got to be Realistic and that's life with cars unfortunately. Sold my e36 for 2700 and still lost money overall on that. I refuse to sell crap though, once it's gone I can't be doing with any come backs so I want the buyer to be happy
If you want more than 300/320 then you'd really need to get a bnr turbo, apparently. Although you could run it on this one but it should eventually feel the strain. Depends how it's mapped and who by, mapping properly is critical, most will just load torque at the wrong points and then you're likely to bend rods etc.
Defo worth it for the price and reliability etc. Could do with 4wd but are a very very capable car and once rolling, absolutely fly.
Bargain rocket ships. Black hides the ugliness I think.
God Yeah. Not as nimble though but I'm told it just takes getting used to. LSD works a treat so you can power out of corners rather than struggle for grip in ep3
Yeah if I were to keep it I'd just map to 280 or somewhere reliable just to compliment the intake etc. They map like an rs tuner so you buy a cobb for 300 second hand and email a guy on forums and he Charges 90 for unlimited maps to suit (when you send him logs of your specific car/mods)and you load them up via the cobb
Absolutely completely honest, mine did 115 miles on 25 quid mixture of motorway blips and a Roads. No worse than my civic, without meaning to shameless plug it shows how good the engine must be in mine, unless that's just normal?! Computer Stated 35 off boost, on boost a bit less
I honestly thought it'd be miles worse than it is. Pleasantly surprised.
On another note, best place to advertise for sale? It's on Pistonheads and Bumtree at the mo (bumtree only cos it's free). But is it worth sticking on auto trader or ebay? Auto trader is more for general cars? Ebay puts out the wrong message I think that it's some shitter?
Yeah I've already reduced it twice from £6,250 since Christmas - as you said I've picked a bad time, but then I thought lots of people would be off and come across it browsing.
I'd listen to offers but I obviously can't afford to lose too much myself! It owes me £6350 ish. Offers welcome - as they are on the Ebay ad.
I lose my drive for a month from Monday too as they're digging up my road on the cul de sac, so if someone were to take it before then I'd be more willing. I'll just borrow my mum's 2004 fiesta td which I don't mind parking on the road! ha
Selling knackered cars isn't worth the comeback/hassle, plus I can't stand the whole haggling thing it's so cringe. Be clear in the ad and in your comms, state a fair price, expect some 'wiggle room' and be done with it.
ha, yep! Altho I don't think I'll ever own as many Clios as you have. Will have a go of my brother's 200 in September when I go out to Oman. It may persuade me back.
MCS? Supercharged mini cooper? Love the whine from those, not so keen on the tubbys, same engine as the 206rc wasn't it?
Ebay just seems to be dominating everything, I held off advertising on there til today as I thought it was a bit like gumtree and would send out the wrong message. Guess not.
yeah it'll be reet, there are a LOT of shitters out there, the MPSOC group on facebook seem to know about all of them on ebay! I went to see the white one that's now at £8,995, it was at £6,995 at Manchester SEAT when I saw it and it's frigged. The blue one at £5,750 has a list of issues as long as my arm. There's a cat D on there too.
Tried to stress how good mine is in the ad but only so much you can do in an ad.
