Yeah was two thirds up between the markers. Should the wine carry on for the entire time the ignition is turned on? I thought it usually goes off after a few seconds?

Sorry to bombard the thread. Throttle body wines when ignition is turned on, changes pitch when pressure is applied to the throttle body valve and doesnt stop could this be it?

Does anybody use a thickner for the oil? Put the recommnded elf 5-40 in it

I'm worried i might of knocked a sensor by the oil filter is there something there that might cause a tapping?

If it helps there is now oil in the vacum line off of the air box there wasnt before. At the same time i cleaned the air filter with a k and n kit following their instructions.

No I couldn't get it off with oil filter plyers! Yeah sump plug went back in with the new washer and i havent leaked any oil on the drive home. Waiting for it too cool down and i'll check the levels again.

After selling my 182 before I left for uni in September (parking was £500 a term!). i'm considering a high milage 172 for the 5 mile commute into work for the summer, budget would only be about a grand, but i've got the bug again, thoughts?

I have a 182 FF in black gold, 12 months mot, full service history, belts done less than 10k ago and the car is on 39k - looking for 3800

Stupid question i know but standard wheel size for a 182 is 205/45/r16 correct? Can you use another size tyre of standard wheels?
