I took the plundge, and bought it for a scraping low price (40 pounds :D). Could not leave it for that price, only the parts are worth more than this.

I have the opportunity to buy a full back door of a phase 2 172. Is it possible to mount this without having to change anything (electric wize). Can i exchange the lock mechanisms ?

there is some small color discoleration thats correct, 99/100 none metallic colors on cars will have the same issue. Thats because plastic/fiber reacts different to the paint than metal/aluminium/etc. ;)

Yes some clear repeaters are on my list aswell, will give it a nice clean look :) painted : Windscreen wiper arms and the hood emblem. lowered it a bit more on the front :cool: resulted in this : I'm now preparing the rear bumper for his appointment with the spayer ;) (scheduled for monday...

Put mine (freshly painted) on 2 days ago. These are the original 16" optional renault ones :)

Well i have been watching for a spoiler V6/Cup to be ownest but as all Renault Sport cars/parts they are pretty rare here. The good thing is that you drive pretty exceptional cars, the bad is that the parts are very expensive and very hard to come by :p

Well a big update :D Decided to paint the alloy's silver instead of the 1st choice, they where to dark for my taste. Will lower it a bit more in the front ;) And painted the bullets glossy black with red 2.0 16v emblem :) And yes there is an Phase 2 bumper on the sunflower ;), needs some...

Where all going with silver F1's then :cool: I'm thinking of doing the calipers red just to break it up a bit.

Yeah Paul i agree completely with Stu, silver on the F1's is the way to go with a sunflower. Are you going to paint the brake calipers yellow aswell stu ?

Well much has been done on the sunflower. The ebay exhaust was terrible, you could use the middle part but the rear part was not fitting at all so please stay away ! Decided to make the backpart a custom one, will place picture's of the result soon. But there's more ! After driving with the...

Oh made a typo ;) its a fibre cable (forget the optical ....... its not a stereo :clown:) Will give this a go, but this should have already been done by the dealer i bought the car from a few weeks back (was in the contract).

I have a small problem with the sunflower. Sometimes when the engine is idleing the gas keeps reving around 1.5~2k When i give a small tick at the pedal it returns back to normal. I now the fibre optic cable is well known to fail, but here's the deal i just replaced it for a brand new original...

The complete exhaust system won't fit on mk2 phs1's ;) We have a spare wheel compartment where the 182's have the complete exhaust system. Only way is to cut this completely out ;)

Well got it last week and i have to say the middle pipe fits ok but the rear part is ... :headno: Doesn't fit for sjit so guys please AVOID !! I made the choice to alter the entire rear part to my own liking, will post some pics tomorrow way to dark now :p

Indeed just as maty j says, Paypal generally favours the purchaser. So i'm pretty covered if someting goes wrong or isn't as it should be/advertised. Keep you all posted ! on this :)

I'm taking the gamble, made the seller an offer for 160 pounds and he agreed :eek: Will post my results/experience when its mounted ;) Don't realy see what could go wrong with an catback system especially made for this car ..... To be continued !

I have to agree with you, this forum is way more usefull. The guides alone are well worth the €18,- of member ship fees :)
