Well all is in and mounted in the car. 1st impressions, sound is insane when accelerating ..... kinda screams. Realy awesome sound ! Made some quick pictures from the engine bay. The filter is next to the horn under the headlight. Looks : Need to finish it off, with some mounting brackets...

Yeah nice touch, right :rofl: I'm going to create some custom 2.0 16v bullets but for now these will do. Optically downgraded the car this way ...... makes for a big laugh when someone try's to challenge me now .... :D

Ok !;) Just to clarify, im not going to buy the k&n one way to expensive. I am going to build it from two of these universal cai kits. :D (you need two because of the bends and length) Ill replace the filter with a decent one (pipercross/green/K&N) when its all up and running.

Well i have placed a better/slightly larger battery and because of that i cannot get the two hoses connected to the airbox anymore. It could get a bit wet there but i could also cut some smaller pipe so it will be a bit higher but still in the same space for the (technically better airflow)...

Im thinking of copying this one from some pipes. But unfortunately this is a pretty rare one, i can find no info on it here or anywhere else on the great web. Or anything similar used on a 172 or 182. . So is anybody familiar with this one. Theoretically its better than allot of others because...

Thanks Craig, my fingers keep itching to do allot more to the car. Next up oil change and new oil filter. New Denso spark plugs (cheaper here than the NGK ones) And porting the plenium this weekend :D

Today i matched the inlets in the manifold. Removing the manifold was a real real pain in the ass but it was worth it ;) Before (allot needed to be removed ) : During : After : The sunflower also got a skoda splitter fitted forgot to shoot some pix, but you guys get the idea :D

Well time for an other update. This time the audio got a major overhaul. But as you probably now by now i am realy realy precise so gave myself these guidelines. - Enough bass without the need of a subwoofer - Keep as much loading space as possible (its still a small car :rolleyes: ) - weight...

Just scored a rs-tuner for a bargain price, so the sunflower is going to be even faster :evil: And finally a set of phase 2 silver door handels ...... been after these for months.

Forgot to mention that i also picked up some hardened engine mounts (there standard but the previous owner filled them with poly utherane :cool:). This wil hopefully stop the engine from the dreaded knocking under hard acceleration. I replaced the dogbone with powerflex rubbers a few weeks back...

Went to Belgium for the easter, and gave the clio a go in the ardens :race: Wow these cars are insane they drive and stick so damn good, its a shame we don't have these roads in holland (probably a good thing to ;) ) I went on a small drive with my father, he almost skit his pants first time...

The f1's are sold and are on a phase 2 172 ;). and Paul these are 16" to ;) We just got different taste, ill take a new pic tomorrow these alloys look real real nice on the sunflower The picture's above don't realy do the alloy's justice, a pic from a distance will make it allot better :D

Wanted to put the 15mm spacers on the back to give it a more wide/agressive look. For this to work the back had to be rolled and i had to do allot of tweaking on the rear bumper. But finally it fitted without rubbing and lowered it another cm :D

Well it was about time for an update ;) Painted the inserts yellow : And back to antracite and red accent alloy's, allong with red calipers :) : Black Badges : Also replaced the old lights for brand new ones, now i am able to see allot more when its dark :D Its also lower in the back...

That isn't good news i hope there is a way to get it out without to much hassle ;)

I want to paint the silver inserts, all are peanuts to remove except this piece :o Do any of you guys know how to remove this piece (easy) ? This piece is playing hardball :rolleyes: seems to be a :quiet: to remove ! When i remove the top of the dash i can see two clips holding it back, its...

I could do that but then i would have 2 holes to fill up :p (these aren't stickers as on the phase 2 :mad:)

The Phs 2 bumper is on :cool: Looks more chunky and wider... Love it :approve:

Very nice car m8, love the cc parts and the 16" :cool: I visit burg-reuland in Belgium a few times a year, just love the "Ardennes". Haven't been there with the RS yet but it must be a dream to live there with a good drivers car. The best thing is you have two !! :D
