Re: Upgrade to Espace (2 Pot) Calipers -> Wich discs ?
Well i got the calipers and made some pictures with the part numbers for you guys.
There a bit bigger for sure, the red is the original ph1 172 (laguna/scenic caliper) the ones on the ph2 172 are a bit different but should have the same...
Re: Upgrade to Espace (2 Pot) Calipers -> Wich discs ?
I have a broken 172 (ph1) caliper i can compare it too, will post a picture this afternoon.
But from 1st impression def. bigger/better.
Re: Upgrade to Espace (2 Pot) Calipers -> Wich discs ?
Well for the ones who don't visit the track on a regular basis this is a real interesting (and extremely cheap) upgrade.
Surely some brembo discs/pads with these larger calipers is allot better than the standard stuff ...... :o
Found some...
Re: Upgrade to Espace (2 Pot) Calipers -> Wich discs ?
They both have the same mounting points, already measured them today at the scap yard. A direct plug and play upgrade, only thing needed are the 300mm 24mm discs from a scenic.
But this is already been discovered by the user in the link...
Re: Upgrade to Espace (2 Pot) Calipers -> Wich discs ?
I plan on picking them up tomorrow, so i can give you guys the part numbers of the calipers :)
These are from a 3.0 v6 espace initiale from 2004
I found some nice Espace Calipers wich fit fine to the Clio mounting.
http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?597479-Used-Uprated-2-pots-calliper-for-clio-172-182-Small-price
They need 300mm discs wich is not hard to find (grand scenic and scenic use these).
But what thickness are the...
I assume not, its purely that i wanted to know what the support is going to be if one starts leaking for example and you NEED the support.
That was the reason i had to start looking for a new set in the first place (Raceland front shock started leaking ......).
Check the vmaxx website...
Got some nice brake lines from ebay.
But they supplied 2 copper washers wich i think are not needed on the 172/182.
Checked the KTR ones and a few others but none are supplied with washers.
Just wanted to check before i get to fitting them.
This is the set i bought, washers are the ones below :
Good to hear you guys like it, the vmaxx is realy realy cheap there.
To think that 2nd hand vmaxx coilovers trade owners for more than these costs here (and BRAND-NEW aswell )
Chrome has a built in translate plugin that is realy realy easy to use, results are not super .... but...
During my search for a new coilover set a few weeks ago i came across this website where they sell coilovers for a very very good price.
Allot cheaper than you would normally see. I went for a second hand AP set in the end, but since the FK and Vmaxx are so popular i thought id share this with...
During this trip there are no home's what so over only company's (industrie area).
I understand the risk (all though very very small) but i just want to learn how to do this so i can do it the next time (local garage will show me).
They don't have time to do the lines them selves thats the...
I am going to replace the brake lines with some new braided ones.
The only thing i don't want to bother with is the bleeding part and let that be done by my local garage wich is 300-400 meters away.
My plan was to go walking speed to the garage with the handbrake there if needed.
But in order...
Today is started mounting the new suspension for the flower.
Racelands off and AP's on. All is going well but i cannot seem to get enough grip on the top part of the rear shocks.
I cannot keep the top from spinning due to there isn't enough metal to get a good grip on.
Only thing needed is a...

Hi,
Looking to upgrade my steering wheel to an R5 GTT one :)
Looks like the holes are correct for a normal mobo/omp boss kit but don't know for sure.
Can someone confirm this ?
Does someone know the diameter of this steering wheel ?

Hi Daniel nice ride !
Just out of curiousity what is the reason of getting a car like this abroad ?
What is the total price you have spend on getting this car on the road here (thinking about doing the same one time).
Well decided to strip a car at the local breakers.
Had all "plastic" parts prof. painted metallic black
Added some black prof. painted mirrors and door handles (came of same car as the bullets).
My cat likes the sunflower to :p
-2.5 degrees of camber -> Special thanks to Tony ! :clap...

These are high quality battery's, widly used for high quality audio.
Gives more stable performance in all circumstances.
Didn't got a choice regarding the size, i bought it from a mate.

What do you guys think ?
Also working on the cold air intake ;)
This thing sounds like a scream of the devil, extremely powerfull sound.
Unfortunately during the mounting of the camber shims (i will make some new pictures of that later) i came across
2...
Well i made a clip with sound, but to be honest this doesn't do the intake justice.
I'm going to make a new one tommorow from the outside, that should make a hell of a difference :D
