the sound proofing has been taken out, behind there is a removable pannel so you can get to the air con box, that has been taken out and painted orange if you need a closer pic i'll take one for you

the orange cover is the one for the aircon box, its behind the fireproofing (i just ripped it all out and had the manifold wrapped instead of making a new one) and it only cost £50 to have it done whoop whoop :approve:

i asked my mate to paint and laquer it cos it was covered in oil, and he decided to paint the back black too here's another pic straight on

yeah its the same bay just a little hard work and bout £250 has made it look like this :D

i think the head lining is bonded to the roof so if you remove it you may fook it up

i wouldnt like to say yes or no but, i cant see it making much difference if any at all, mine has had more than just inlets and i can still get 35mpg if i drive like miss daisy :D my mpg is usually around 32 and i stick it most days

as above is it worth having it done at the same time as the aux and cam belt change
