Have just pm'd bic, I managed to completely destory my old trim as I don't have the hands of a 5 year old and it wouldn't just "pop" out. :(
My old trim measured 1090mm (2003 172) and the carbon fibre one doesn't fit as it is too short (I have put it up against the bumper but not pushed it...
Mine was one of the originals, the old thread was removed and then a number of posts about this were removed too. I then completely forgot about it! :S
Will hopefully have time to put it on tonight! Fingers crossed :p
GDI Tuning are now based at K-tec (corrected). They can provide anything from mild modifications to high power conversions such as ITB's, superchargers and turbo's.

Right at the bottom :)
No idea if this is what it failed on but thought I should mention it :)
It is a KTR Recessed system without a silencer in the centre section. I wanted to go but unfortunately I am on call (trying to get someone to swap weekends with me at the moment). :(
Can only comment on the 172 exhausts but I have had both, currently got a KTR recessed system on mine. Both of them sound great in my opinion. If you can try and find someone nearby that has one or the other and go and see which you prefer!
Overtook a lovely looking 172 on the A50 yesterday, wasn't too sure if they were from here as I couldn't see any stickers. They then pulled out and gave me a flash, I put my hazard lights on and it was then that I found out they now don't work :dead:
I had the exact same thing, my clock was fine, no problems what so ever starting the car. I ran it for over a year and it kept on doing it (it didn't let me down once!). In the end I was offered a brand new one at a stupidly low price so just bought it. It now works properly and no longer...
I did send a PM about it but didn't get a reply back. I did say I wanted it with aircon though and noticed they said later on in the thread that the 5 they wanted doesn't include aircon at the moment. Like a lot of people have said though, I suppose it all depends on price/figures arrive etc...
Because a catalytic converter reduces the toxicity of emissions, the first O2 sensor before the cat gets a reading, the gas then goes through the catalytic converter. A second oxygen sensor is fitted after the catalytic converter to monitor the O2 levels. The on-board computer makes comparisons...
I thought you are meant to blank that hole? Then wrap up the sensor and cable tie it somewhere safe (still connected)? The readings it is expecting will be for when a CAT was there, if you haven't got one the readings will be way out and will be causing the error. Well that is how I see it (I...
I had mine on Jamsports rolling road on Saturday and made 186bhp with a full exhaust system, matched inlets, ITG Maxogen and a new map. Before the new map and matched inlets it was 177bhp. The next thing for me will either be cams or a supercharger. However I don't know how reliable the...
I was there when Sean.'s car was on the rollers. The noise was just amazing! If it wasn't for the up and coming supercharger conversions I would already be a lot poorer! :)
Let us know what it makes once you have the new map!
