Will an IK cause the 16v to run lean aswell? I thought the ECU used sensors for air in-take anyway?

Im using chip stick for my bonnet chips cause u know they will re-appear in the winter, just using coulor magic plus polish to re-move the swirling scratches and having bumper resprayed to solve water causing paint to peel.

I know that the Clio 16v phase 2 shares the same alloys with R19 16vs & some Meganes BUT; Does any1 know the exact ages of the cars which carry the same alloys including the same smooth centre caps (not the later Meganes with a pattern on the caps); expert needed. Thanx. Mikey.

As much as i like my Clio i wont be gettin another French car, especially not a Peoguet, they r even worse mate. If u want a car thatll never cause u as much trouble get either a VW or any Jap car.

Yeah, i know that but it does take the fun out of driving it normally as u can move by only takin it up to 5k whereas with the IK its up to 7k or jus dont bother. I think my 1/4 mile will be better with the IK but its just enjoying driving it with-out booting it if u know what i mean?

My mates g/box wouldnt go in 1st or 2nd due to a bolt falling out of the gear linkage mechanism or something along those lines, but if it comin out of gear once in it, sounds more complicated than that to me.

Adam, there worth around 4k for a good un. Do ur homework but i will advise that u hav to love a 16v to keep it to A1 condition cause the running repairs r higher than the entry level Clios even for a minter. A generally BIG fun car which will rinse a lot of other hot hatches. If u like...
