Think that looks to be a refurbished version of the same one as opposed to brand new-
I'd also read a few things about people saying to go brand new over a refurbished unit to guarantee no issues. Looking at the price differential I think I would.
What’s the current consensus on replacement? The Renault part is out of stock with RPD but googling has led me to believe VALEO 439302 is the only one I’d want to go for which autodoc have-
https://www.autodoc.co.uk/valeo/1081040
Is that accurate or is there anything else I should know?
Reviving this...has anybody tried aftermarket options with any success?
Autodoc list a few options-

I've done some digging on this as I also need some pads for my XKR and there's a thread on the Jaguar forum which details pad friction ratings-

I won't go in to the research steps but it involved a lot of...
What's the latest on pads? Are TRW still a safe bet for what I've previously described?
Will need front discs and pads due to corrosion on the inside of the disc which probably goes a long way to explain why I no longer have much 'bite' when pushing the brakes hard.
I appreciate there are various old threads on this but could do with some up to date input. Got new SNR top mount kits for my Trophy dampers and the new spacer/nut that replaces the separate spacer and half nut appears to be absolutely nowhere near where it's meant to be.
A waste of time or am...
Revival here as my Trophy's driver side fog light has been cracked since I bought the car in 2014 😬 and it'll be getting a front bumper respray this year so need to finally force myself into sorting it out.
@Brigsy did these Valeo ones fit no issues? OEM items are now taking the piss at £135 a...
Yeah I know as I contacted Jon directly through pistonheads referencing the tests he did but he did also say the feel can vary through different sizes.
I've been reluctant to try it as the PS3's come in an 87 load but most others including the PC6 come in 83.
I don't doubt they'd objectively...
Do you have experience of how the Contintental's feel?
I've asked this a couple of times but yet to come across someone who's made the swap-

Think I'll go ahead with them cheers.
It's definitely this part as my mechanic mentioned it's the part that bolts directly to the boot floor and between it and the rubber mount.
Looks like the originals are NLA from Renault, has anyone gone with these from BRR?

One of mine has had its day...
For what it's worth, I do not recommend these Kam Racing ones. Only had them on the car a few months and the nice shiny finish has dulled and gone tatty already.
Have you fitted this yet?
I've been delaying replacing mine but looks like I've sprung a mega leak as topping up the screenwash resulted in it pishing out from the left hand wheel arch liner. Made noticeably worse when using the washers which at least looks to confirm it was indeed playing up...
Have their been any reported issues running these on E10?
E5 super can sometimes be a pain to get locally so I'd hope there's been some folk using E10 without issue...
Best sticking with Renault for the pump or are any aftermarket options worth a look?
https://renaultpartsdirect.co.uk/parts/exterior-parts/renault-clio-172-182-washer-pump/
It ain't cheap for what it is.
The washers work ok overall but for a while now I've noticed that maximum spray isn't coming out of every nozzle. Any time I function them there is at least one of the four nozzles spraying noticeably less/weaker than the others but it's not consistent, it can vary from one skoosh to the next...
6 years hence and we're in the same boat here! Has been this way for a while to be honest, car squirms quite a bit to the left and the steering wheel pulls to the right.
Annoyingly 2/3 years ago, the front right caliper (one of the two that I'd refurbished) was replaced due to a sheared nipple...
Thought I updated this.
Not sure there was an obvious answer in the end but I ended up replacing the spark plugs, ignition leads and coil pack and it was (eventually) sorted.
I say eventually as a new misfire immediately appeared after this which, after many hours of fault finding to no avail...
Does make me wonder what the cars would be like if the latest and great UHP tyres were available in 16". Can you imagine Pilot Sport 4S or Sport Contact 7's on one of these?
Yes I'm in the same camp. No issues but tyres do move on.
I emailed Jon at tyrereviews (who's also on pistonheads) and he hasn't actually driven on the PS3. He thinks the PC6 should still feel better but did say in the smaller sizes the structure of the tyre often changes from the sizes in...
