Was there not some issue with the Rotex chargers blowing seals on the Clio's? Something about mounting the brackets in a different way. Has this problem all been ironed out now?

Yeah thats right. The rocker cover breather set up is different iirc Just use your original plenum chamber (top inlet)

Sure i read somewhere that ribbing in a inlet hose is meant to aid cooling.

All you need is a bit of black tape stuck behind the fascia.

You don't need valves and springs. I got mine done at Renault (years back) as it worked out cheaper when adding up the petrol costs on top of the work.

What are GT cams? Is the 'GT' bit an abbreviation of something or the actual name? Awesome torque. TB territory.

Are you using a one of those magnetic screwdriver headed things where the torx slots in the end ? If yes use a 3/8 or 1/4 ratchet and torx socket

Its a Zetec turbo Chip, running T34, .45 housing. Just wondering if i should replace the stock 136ps cams or mix and match with 105/115ps ones.

Never really found the clutch to be stiff. Firm maybe but not anything which is noticeable.

Little bit of insulating tape stuck behind the instrument panel where the light shines up through is all you need. Totally hidden, stops the light and is FREE! 2nd lambda plug method still brought my light on

Yeah as above. If the spring(s) are fine just use a heavy duty bolt and nut, maybe some thread lock too. I did this roughly 5 years back and never had a problem since. Stock bolts with the Ren kit are junk and promote wear of the gasket because they don't go tight enough and move 'too' much

I was always having problems with the mesh gasket wearing out (Genuine kits) and causing blowing so replaced the bolts for the biggest ones which would fit and bolting it up a lot tighter and have never had a problem in over 5 years since Imo the stock bolts allow for too much movement and...

Pure Motorsport website has a full how to removal guide mate. Laguna 1.8 8V bracket is the same as a Cup. Got mine for a tenner from the local breakers lol Genuine Cup alternator and belt and all can be done for not much over a 100
