Aye it's my old one. Exhaust has the centre box chopped out of it so it rasps/pops/crackles when giving it some! I don't want to see it about, I'll probably cry lol
Sounds horrendous, you really need to get some pics up.
Being a spray painter myself I really don't understand how some people can have so little pride in their work, I'd actually have to go out of my way and put effort into doing things wrongly to achieve the sort of bodge you've been handed...
I did do it, payed £2000 to insure my 172 at 18, fully comp though. I have the same view as Gaz, life is too short to wait about and be sensible.
If you can afford it without crippling yourself and it's what you really want, do it.
Giving the thing a good boot in the ribs should make you feel better.
Cats should only exist on the internet with funny captions around them, IRL they're c***s.
Finishing touch to the outside, as Christopher said they're a must for 200s, don't understand why people very rarely spec them.
Glad you're happy with them :).
Nice upgrade! Plans sound good too.
One thing I'd say it needs is some form of Renaultsport badge put back onto the tailgate, looks a little too bare without it IMO.
The sticker won't be anything to do with tuning. You're thinking of "stage 1" which doesn't actually mean anything specific, it's just a term companies use to describe the different levels of tuning package they offer.
Passenger footwell, underneath the dash just next to the door, there are 4 little black boxes called relays that should be plugged in up there. One of them will be loose or have fallen out most probably.
No, just a 182 cup.
Got agree with Daniel, if she's beating you off the line it's because she's better at launching than you, not because she's driving a Cup seeing as there's sod all difference between them speed wise.
Bit strange that it's faded, it's not the sort of colour that suffers from fading usually. Sounds like it could have had a poor respray on the bonnet at some point to me, any pics?
The car itself is OK, the colour I do love though. Really fancy doing a full colour change on a car in that sort of colour, would be uber rewarding to stand back and look at the finished item I'd expect.
