The ideas in your OP are spot on. Nice bright silver wheels, fresh OEM badges. 182 wheels look s**t in anything other than silver/anthracite/black. Black and blue isn't a good look and you already have anthracite so go silver.

Yup, I had it cut out on my 200, flat spot appeared about 2.3k or so. As Martin said, they can improve it with mapping, but can't get rid of it completely IIRC.

Even if it had no washers or self levelers it still wouldn't fail an MOT anyway, if they're not there, they can't test them. People will tell you otherwise, but they're wrong.

To do a 182 replica properly, you'll need both bumpers, the wings, the sideskirts, all four arch liners, the headlights, coilovers/60mm springs and a set of wheels which are a lower offset than standard. Miss out any of these bits and it looks unfinished and isn't worth bothering...
