    Hi If you ask me, I think the corrosion resistance of these Clios is pretty good compared to a lot of other cars from that same period! Remember the youngest 182 is now 13 years old, and the oldest 172 is around 18 years now isn't it?

    I found the cause was the rod had not been aligned correctly which is why the gate had moved to the driver's side. Undid the bolt, twisted the rod and did it up again and all is good. Thanks for the help!

    Hi, A couple of questions, when the sub frame is slackened off / partially removed, does it require realigning or can the sub frame only fit in one place? Will the suspension tracking require setting afterwards? Do you bother replacing the crank seal whilst it is apart as well?

    I also like how that they've got the filter at just a slight angle, so as you unwind it the oil then drains out all over the front of the block and pools in all the strengthening ribs!

    Thanks for the replies. Bloke, having seen the video without sound, am I right thinking that the cluch pedal is part of the brake pedal assembly so it all comes out as one? Presuming that I can unclip the brake pedal from the master cylinder and withdraw it all as one unit to work on the bench?

    Hi guys, Just as an update, without having changed anything the car will now start first time every time when cold rather than having to go through the double prime / ignition live routine before cranking. Not sure what's changed but maybe it's the colder weather?! Thanks
