Front and back for sure. Recently got my mate a set for £150 with door cars. You've got a 5 door fortunately with the darker colour of plastics on the doors  that's a major plus because after you've done the seats you can just buy the alcantara fabric and trim your current doorcards (when...
You've got you're mats the wrong way round :) The passenger mat is on the driver's side and vise-versa. Scrap the seat covers idea and go for a 172 half leather seats. You can pick them up with matching door cards for <£150 these days, its an easy swap and they make such a difference!
You'll be able to pick up a front and rear bumper off ebay super cheap and probably already painted in black as its fairly common
Honestly new wheels will make such a difference especially if you lower it too. Clios don't really suit anything bigger than 16". You can pick up standard 172...
Hold on. Since when was there so much hate for modifying 1.2s? I modded mine and loved every minute of it. It was a great stepping stone. Check out my project here.
Good mods are lower it, get some decent alloys (look up turinis, 172 alloys, 182 alloys, oz superturismos, oz f1s, there are more...
Small update, but an update none-the-less. I have not changed the air filter since I got the car. I had an Espace V6 airbox on for about 6 months of driving it but still a new one was long overdue. I nabbed a freshly oiled ITB filter off @vecbtb fitted it. I got a decent battery too as 18 months...
First lower it, THEN 172 16" 5 spokes for an effortless under-£200-all-in refresh. You can pick up 172 wheels for around the £100-£120 mark and springs shouldn't cost more that £100 :)
Thanks :)
I totally agree. Even if I was going for different wheels I'd stick to silver. When I first put the anthracite wheel on I was really happy with it but over time I was looking at Monacos with silver wheels and thinking it looked much better suited.
It’s about time I started a project thread for this car.
Some of you may remember my 1.2 Odyssey Blue “Low and Slow” from a few years ago. It was a car I was in no hurry to get rid of but being 20 and never owned anything serious I was always keeping my eye open for a faster alternative. It...
It should hold itself in. Does it not still have the little clips that locate into the knob? If the knob is too warped and it keeps falling out buy a new one. They're only a couple of pounds and will make a massive difference. Get in touch with one of the people breaking 1*2's in the for sale...
