There's just no point trying to help some people! You could easily have protected your car seat by using something like an old towel for example.

Easy to fix. Find a piece of wood that's just long enough to keep the brake pedal pressed down when wedged against the drivers seat. Bleed the brakes using this system, it will be a bit time consuming but it is possible: open the bleed screw/press down the brake pedal slowly to the floor/hold it...
I bought mine from Yozzasport and can confirm they came with the bearings fitted and ABS rings. Checked but I don't have the recipt anymore with part number.

Does anyone remember which thread it was that had a photo showing all the sensors on the F4R engine - I think it was a racing version of the engine, but it still showed what all the sensors were on the road engine. Flippin useful but I forgot to save a copy. Anyone?

Does anyone know the part number for this for a 172 phase one?
Renault want £25 and I reckon GSF can do it cheaper, but they want a part number make sure it's the right one.

Matteh, I can't fit it for you myself, but if find someone local who can and need somewhere off the road to work, you can use my place in Exmouth. It's only a small garage though. Hope you get it done by Sunday for the airfield bash.

Has anyone fitted these polywotsit replacement wishbone bushes, link here:

I'd like to know if they're any good. Renault want about £130 for a new pair of wishbones.

Someone posted a photo recently showing where most of the main sensors were located. Sorry I can't remember the post, you'll need to try a search.

I'd be tempted to strip the brakes down and just clean-up everything, bleeding the system and probably fitting new pads at the same time. You don't need a manual, M8. There's a guide on here showing you how to do it. One thing to check is that the caliper can slide freely on its pins (it should...
Common problem, so not too suprising its worn. Not sure how to check it without replacing it. On mine, it was as noisy as anything but felt fine turning the wheel by hand with the car jacked up. I could only tell it was worn by taking the hub off and turning the bearing by hand - it then felt a...
Good one, Matteh.
These unmarked cars are never particularly subtle, always gleamingly clean.
Oh, and there's also a blue Volvo something jobbie hiding down in Plymouth.
