It's phase one so it's a cable operated type. It doesn't feel sticky. But I do not for certain. Only way to find out will be to replace it, I guess.

Clutch! Don't say that, it's expensive.
Can't see how it can be the clutch TBH. It doesn't rev as cleanly as it should I reckon with or without the clutch engaged.
The revs rise only a little, nothing like as much as 3000 rpm, and then they drop down fine to normal idling speed - it's just that slight delay and it's noticable. I am suspicious of that long black part before the black lever - the adjuster. Maybe I'll fit a new cable and see if that sorts...
I've noticed when I take my foot off the throttle the revs aren't dying/dropping as quickly as they should be. Also the revs drop and then rise slightly again.
The cable isn't sticking and the throttle body opens and closes just fine. I reckon it's a sensor fault. The car (it's a 172) is...
Type D coolant is recommended. I got mine from GSF for £12 for 4 lires.
Unless you have the right tool getting the bottom hose back on is a pig!

I'm kinda glad now that I stopped on the start line and didn't go in that vid. I was taking a nail from just in front of the next car's tyre and when blokey started the race I was still just sitting down!

Bleed it again as I think from how you've described it you haven't done it properly.
There will be guide somewhere on here and a good bleed kit is important I've found.

^^^^ As the man said. On Dialogys it says you can't buy a ball joint on its own. Some have managed to find them from somewhere though so good luck.

I'm currently with AOL and have unlimited download limits apparently (I don't know much about all this, it's all voodoo to me!). I am thinking about getting Sky TV with the telephone and broadband package, but the broadband is limited to 2GB or 40GB depending on the option I pick. My kids...
I'm fed up with taking large relatives home in my car only for the SERV/Airbag lights on the dash to come on, so it's time to sort out the wiring under the front seats. It's a Ph1 172 BTW.
I've tried putting electrical tape round the connector and the wires to hold it all in a bit better but...
In a word, don't!
Unless of course you want to. It's quite hard to do, but not impossible. A decent specialist garage doesn't charge very much to do it.

It was a question that was answered a little while ago along with how much brake fluid. The answer is 4 litres or thereabouts (just under 1 litre for the brake fluid).

I'll gladly open the windows and stay cool. I can't see the point in all the gadgets: electric windows, rain sensitive wipers, oil level sensor...so starts a grumpy old man rant...
All in all though, the extra performance is so very marginal it really cannot be worth forking out money for...
No M8, I was heading back from Tiverton Parkway after a lovely day stuck in the office in Bristol.
There are two air feed pipes that go into the airfilter housing. They come up from behind the two slits on the bumper (the two slits are below the headlamp and to the left as you look at the car...
Not too difficult, but it is all a bit tight. Once you have the two cold air feed pipes back in place I'll be happy to bring mine round and show you how it all fits together.
