Thanks for the lesson on how to tripod a clio today vicky.
Although at times we all got abit nutty on the twisties and at one time or another we all had a hairy moment when we nearly stuffed it, it was a big success and well worth the trip out.
Hope to do it again soon, see if anyone can...
Well thats what the cups all about lol, hardcore no comprimise.
Why add weight and drag to the car with washer jets when you can just use my technique :p
You get washer jets supplied but i couldnt bring myself to drilling into the carbon fibre :dead:
So now i keep some fast glass spray handy and just stick my hand out the window and spray it on to the windscreen, whack the wipers on and job done :rasp:
After a few months of debating i finally decided to buy a carbon bonnet for the car.
Alot of people said it wouldnt look right on a 197 but after seeing an R26.R in the flesh at FCS i couldnt see how it wouldnt look good.
Overall im happy with the bonnet, excellent quality and great fit...
What your mates with him now?
Dude you gotta get me an autograph lol.
But seriously im liking the whole black theme you got going on.
Takes alot more effort to make a non RS stand out, gd effort.
I hate the exhausts on these, they look like something you'd buy from halfords. And the wheels arent far off either.
However the front bumper is really nice, luv it
Yeah ppl just get new ones fitted on warranty no problem.
Havent driven the new 'improved' clio RS but if you've never driven the 197 i can tell you its a fantastic car, you'd luv it.
So much mechanical grip and the brakes could crease the road
You need a spark plug socket, or at the least a deep reach socket, 14mm i think but dont take my word on it.
Word of warning, screw the new plugs back in with your fingers until they go tight. Very easy to cross thread on the aluminium head, as a good friend of mine found out once lol.
Afriad so mate, personally i've never had issues with mine, but its only got 2500miles on the clock and never been abused.
I known of cars with 20000miles to start grinding and eventually not go into gear at all.
^^^ Lol they'd have you believe that ay. Unfortunately the reality is the g.box used in the mk3 RS clios has wooden internals, or so it would seem.
Most cars that see any hard abuse or track work usually chew up their gears very quickly :(
