They are, but its not the point. Its a pain in the arse to keep takin it back to the stealers for new parts, apparently the seats take a couple months to come in so you'll have to live with big tears for that long.
However, if your having the 200 they may well have rectified the fault, it is a...
Its a shame to lose the mint 182 but at the end of the day the only sensible choice i suppose, having a car sit around losing value for so long doesnt make sense.
Seats go back and forward on the rail and can be moved up an down to a small degree, never tried reclining mine funnily enough.
Comfy to a degree, if you like hardcore then they wont pose a problem.
Dont get me wrong you wont see me down pitsea with a primered nova doing burnouts whilst my fat mates in hoodies hold the car back outside maccyDs.
Just word on the street you know lol.
Yes its alot, the difference between recaros and std renaultsport seats is just the harness loops and lack of headrest. Bulsters and actual seat shape are near enough the same.
Recaros are comfy though, after two hours sure you start to get a lower back ache but apart from that no dramas.
I pressure wash mine lightly as said, and then scrub around some Autoglym machine cleaner, comes up nice.
Copper grease on the threads of the coilovers is a good idea but cover the exposed thread with some gaffa tape to prevent dirt sticking to the grease.
Its the nearside bulb that will cause the headache. having the battery box fitted soooooo close behind it theres about enough room for a pair of snipe nosed pliers and its like doing surgery. but it is possible, took me bout 20mins to change the sidelight bulb.
Offside bulb: 2 min DIY job.
He's had it a couple of times at the petrol station lol.
Suprisingly, and i may be throwing myself to insult here, but when two 1.4 clios had a quick speed run we popped the bonnets and felt for heat difference on top of the engine and the bonnet lifted clio defo runs cooler...
I doubt fresh oil will silence the tappy engine.
Lotsa threads on here from concerned owners over their tappy engines, all renaults do them.
Asked a mechanic at a renault dealer, apparently something to do with piston slap on engine design...
Top tip remove the ABS fuse lol, nothing more exciting then locking the inside wheel into a fast corner, will make the brakes feel uber strong again :p
( Accepting no liability for you crashing btw )
When you said you'd gone for something different and before the picture had loaded i was expecting bright yellow or illuminous orange, i must say im abit dissapointed lol.
I got a spare grille sitting in the loft if you want it? :p
What pads are you using? the OEM setup doesnt cope well with the heat when the going gets tough and they fades away quickly.
But then again most aftermarket pads require heating up so will seem pants at first.
Brakes in mine arent all that special TBH, they're very good but thats about it.
