At first its exciting to know that you gotta rev it like a race car to get the power out of it, but trust me it soon gets tiresome when you have cars half as powerful catching you out cos your under 6000rpm!
Stripping my car out has IMO opinion made it slower...
I've lost so much confidence in its grip and stability due to the snacky rear end that i dare not drive it as quick as before, and dropping 2psi didnt change a thing.
Do the good old servo test,
Pump pedal hard with engine off til it goes stiff then hold it down, as you start the engine it should sink a couple inches, then switch it off and pump and should go stiff again.
If the above dont happen then could be your problem
Something to do with the brake servo, only thing that connects brakes to engine.
Maybe a vacuum leak from the servo pipe allowing the engine additional air after the throttle butterfly???
Hot hatches are designed to be abused yeah, but to a certain extent.

Certainly something about them, they always seem to come up with the goods when you need em to.
Only owned one RS but cant see myself buying anything else in the future
Alot of effort for a hit and miss here.
Besides after you've spend all this money, chopped the front of your car to pieces and bought a v.expensive smaller rad, your gonna be abit dissapointed when a turbo'd ktec jobbie flies past you on boost :p
Hi mate, car looks neat. Hope your gonna put the effort into keeping the engine gleaming :p
Get yourself to some essex meets and get ya car well known, look forward to seeing it.
