    Have you noticed the difference in performance mate? Can you use your standard alternator with this, you don't need to change to a Cup one ?

    Can't help you with the values of a 182 and what you should pay but you need to add the cost of a cambelt and aux belt change on top of the price :) - Could be anything from 4 - 900 depending on where you go so bare that in mind :)

    428's aren't lairy mate. Might be wrong but think the idea with these new cams is simply to squeeze more power out than 428's but still have them suitable for ecu mapping.

    The before and after in your quote was on two different rollers so always dodgy territory. Point i'm trying to make, i'm not knocking the gains, i'm just saying the difference is pretty much typical 428 with these cams even though these are meant to be a more lairy

    Going by these and the average 428 graphs. you couldn't fit a fag paper between the differences. That said, the price is the same so you makes your choice..

    Due to the cost of a Sport model it just isn't worth it. Even if you did do it its not going to be such a super dooper blow everyone into the weeds conversion anyway! The 225 turbo route is a very good shout tho.

    What do you think of the drive with the Schrick cams Russ? Can you notice a trade off anywhere in the rev range or do they pull well from low down right the way up? Any plans to put it on the rollers on its current spec ?

    It might have ran a 13.7 or less with a 182 mani ;) Wasn't this car the one which ran slicks, race fuel and just one seat?
