figures quoted are for cold tyres. personally i run 33 front and 30 rear, and i wouldn't generally adjust them when warm cos it could be uneven. but everybody's different ;)
^^ service history also appears to be lacking somewhat?
i'm afraid you have merely been a victim of your own ignorance and your garage's incompetence. anybody with a brain knows that if you remove or loosen any tension belt you should replace it with new.
mine's started doing it fairly recently (45k), until it has warmed up properly it gives very uneven power delivery. at first i was worried my clutch might be on its way out but now i think it's the automatic choke or something (if engines still have those!?) :clown:
i am down with your pain bro
seagull targeted mine on weds, just washed it off today, nice pair of bubbly marks on my bonnet  can only see them from particular angles but still, not happy!
^^yes but what u get for a p/ex isn't what they're going to market it at! ;)
dude i paid 6800 for my 02 plate last July with 20k on it. make of that what you will! I got a 6 month warranty included, but it wasn't worth the paper it was written on when I found out the cam dephaser was faulty...
any recommendations? i'm not sure what you're getting at. generally the only places i've seen that do MOTs are also garage services... but i'd much rather avoid them if possible!
thanks
edit: its ok, found this link very useful...
oh god, drums! well i'm afraid i'm out now, have no experience of sorting out drum brakes, sorry.
but surely they have to tell you what ur getting for £120 ?? sounds a bit suss to me...!
"In fact you can have the Test done up to a calendar month before the expiry date and have the new MOT forward-dated to the expiry date of the existing certificate."
Useful tip that. And still my dad always leaves his until the 11th hour... :o
good plan. fairly pointless changing the aux belt if ur cam is due soon after. best get them both done at the same time as they will only chuck out the aux belt with the cam anyway. (not sure this applies to cups tho)
u might find some of the posts in here of interest

(hence i suggested it being sticky!?!? or providing something in the guides section. but never mind ;))
omg i can't believe i didn't remember that. he was one of the first cs-er's i spotted after joining :o the white wheels confused me lol. they look neat tho :)
lol i didn't even mention depreciation ;)
i suppose it could be worse. put 23,000 miles on it in 9 months and it's not yet had a serious breakdown (touchwood). as long as i don't have to fork out for a new clutch or anything soon i'll be happy :o
mine's just started rattling recently :dapprove: i didn't know what people meant about that but now i definitely do. sounds like a wasp is trapped in the air vents! altho with music and aircon running i don't notice ;)
it's an 02 plate and i've had a few problems since acquiring it last July...
quite liking the idea of prospeed, guys who got a stealth, did u declare it on ur insurance?? i haven't even bothered to phone up yet to see how much extra its gonna be... :(
