If it is a lambda sensor making the car idle at 3000 revs, it'll be the pre-cat one, the post cat one doesn't do anything other than throw the engine management light up on the dash when it finds a "fault".
I'll re-phrase that, when I say "done properly" I mean for the cash you'll spend on getting them painted you can get them powdercoated which you say yourself will last longer. If both are done by a decent painter/coater then there's only a slight finish difference between paint and powdercoat...
I used to do my 1.2 and 172 two/three times a week, I've lost all interest in car cleaning though since I bought the 200 for some reason, prefer to just drive it now.
LOL!
Always amazes me how so many dealers know absolutely feck all about the product they're selling. The guy I bought my 200 from just handed me the keys and said "I won't bother showing you around it, you probably know more about it than I do".
^ You'll need spring compressors to take the top mounts off your standard shocks on the front, apart from that it's a peice of piss, as long as you don't go shearing any bolts.
I'd wind it down a bit on the front, so the arch gap is equal front and rear. Don't do the bonnet black, just ends up looking like a failed at attempt at making it look carbon fibre.
I use it now and again at work, gives a nice finish but I've no idea of longevity as we generally don't see the cars come back again. Very easy to use. Smells pretty good, too.
