Their lower tech support is india based, once you get past them though their proper tech support is top notch. Helps if you have some direct dial numbers ;)
Amen to that.. and even when you do get it they just cap the f**k out of you for being a 'heavy user' after downloading that one PS3 demo !!!
Let me keep 20mbit and don't cap me you gheys !!!
They only people that say they are s**t are people who have never owned them or don't know jack about computers.
I work in I.T. and dell stuff has been top notch. Some of their older laptops where a bit ghey though but they were still reliable.
Which, if Cisco is on by default so would need to be deliberately disabled !! :nono:
You think that's bad though, I've just been tracking down a problem with software deployment through GP. Figured out none of the changes were taking effect.
A number of servers were taken offline over easter...
Deffinatly try Ubuntu 9.04 ! its as slick as Windows 7 and OSX. and having tried it I agree it really is getting ridiculously impressive now.. even wifi stuff 'Just Works' now !
They really have put a lot of work into making it run quickly aswell the whole OS seems really snappy and responsive now.
Well, no-one has replied so I thought I would try and help a bit.
If you set up a linux box with a couple NIC's you could use that with this software http://www.joachim-breitner.de/udp-broadcast-relay/ to forward broadcast packets.
Could use any old box lying around, if you forgo the gui you...
It breaks the license agreement but who gives a toss ? If I buy a copy of OSX I should be able to install it where I want whether it was designed for it or not.

(ps. Yes I know your comment was in...
Ditto, but I quickly removed OSX and installed a custom version of Ubuntu 9.04.
It f**king rocks now ! and with ext4 and the boot tweaks it boots in about 10 seconds !
You need to look at the routing of packets on your network. Somwhere along the line return packets are either not being sent or are being blocked to certain addresses.
check your routing tables etc.
Just checked again. I now can load site b. Looks like its an intermittent problem.
A few things.
What is 192.168.1.180 and why does you netgear router keep sending out ARP requests for it ? Check the ARP tables on the router to make sure everything looks right ! remember to send a few pings so that the arp tables are filled.
At site b the last communication is an ACK packet...
Start with some simple network diagnostics.. simple things like tracert/ping can tell you where the packets are being stopped and then you will know where to look.
Unfortunately without a full topology and router configs I can't really help you further.
