The one in Whiterun is a bit naff, but was the cheapest one (5k) and right near the armoury. Might buy another one later on then as I guess for storeage it is quite good, although I like to keep a fairly lean inventory in these games.
Got the perks so atronachs have double power and is pretty...
Yeh got my new pad in Whiterun, then subsequently spent however much it is (1k-2k?) on deccing it out. Bit of a waste of money though and makes me wonder on the future of DLCs in these games, Sims style decoration packs, or base development mods?!
I would quite like to see a sort of RPG come...
Ok nice one! In my game, sadly Lydia died...didn't realise you could kill your own allies, she bore the brunt of my fire! It's ok though, still don't have a house so nowhere for mine to cotch! Can you get themes for it like you could do in Fallout 3?
Do they all go back to Riften then Scutch, or was that where he came from (I literally have no idea where I pick up these men.... :) )
Yes some of the speech loops start to grate after 50+ hours, e.g. "we sell the finest weapons and armour" - NO YOU DON'T IT IS THE SAME PAP THE MERCHANT DOWN...
The bugs are part of the fun in a Bethesda game! :)
So annoying, started doing a companion quest and my companion Mercurio has left me now as someone else has joined me for this particular mission. Do companions come back after missions, or will they go back to where you originally met them...
Haha. I now let my companion do most the fighting and summon a flame or frost atronach and by the time they are done I don't have much left to do. Bad thing about this though is you get no XP if your companion does it all, but you do get conjuration XP from the atronach....can't wait to get...
Sorry, my bad think I got the 2 confused (seems like a lifetime ago I was about to be executed there!)
But in general kill all the dragons you can. The weirdest one was right in the college of Winterhold, as soon as I killed it no one there even mentioned it, found the AI / scripting there...
You should have killed the first dragon mate, it is really easy as he is being pummelled by the other warriors, and you get a dragon soul too. Would have thought it kick starts the main mission too, without it they presumably don't know you're a dragon born?
Scutch what is that book you...
Simple mate....just make loads of iron daggers. Go and buy iron ore/ingots and leather (or make that too). takes a while but once it is done it is done. Only downside is you are levelling at the same time, but not getting any xp in combat so by the time you finish you might find that the...
Haha. Cool thanks mate, I do have that note but not visited there yet. I have heard some mines have Ebony, guess Google should tell me where!
Surprisingly though as I am 100 smithing I have almost no gold - just spent all my dollar on making dragon armour for me and glass armour for my...
I want to make some Daedric armour but have not encountered any enemy yet where I can obtain a daedric heart, and don't know where to mine ebony from (buying it is hella expensive).
Any idea where to get started for this?
Yes I tried that mate, 3 times! They even tried to apply some specific port forwarding codes and still no joy :( Friends on BT have just reset their router when it has happened to them but always stays on strict for me.
Well I have followed ALL of the BT instructions (several times in fact!) and had 3 of their "engineers" tried to mess around remotely with my settings but to no avail. After a year of no success think it will be easier just to switch.
Ok these are my options:
1. Virgin - but no FO in my area so down a phone line = slower and more expensive
2. Sky - got quoted a really good deal, and free BB for 6 months
3. Stay with BT - but they can't fix my NAT settings and their customer services are awful
Currently looking like 2 is...
I did that! Annoying! for me though having a companion changes the difficulty massivelly. Got that Maurio mage guy and tooled up wearing glass armour and sword all fully upgraded and between us tearing through enemies. Considering switching to the hardest difficulty although in RPGs I don't like...
Not sure Krispwee where to look on that page? My postcode is AL15JN?
Sky is looking like a good shout then - how do they compare against Virgin though?
Currently on BT and cannot wait to leave them - worst customer services I have EVER dealt with and the package is far too expensive, wish I had never joined but never mind.
Have been looking at Sky - seem decent enough speeds from what I can tell and good prices. Not bothered about TV but nice...
I am 45 hours in and level 31, I am a high elf but have been using heavy armour and one handed weapon along with destruction / conjuration / restoration. My companion is a mage so between us we tear through enemies now.
Have level 100 smithing so got dragon armour, but having made it it seems...
I love this game - so much variety. I tend to do a mission, get sidetracked, find something else on the way to the mission, get over burdened with stuff so I have to return to a town to sell it, get sidetracked some more. Been spam levelling my smithing and conjuration lately, level 99 smithing...
I read a book called Wabbajack...think I sold it though?!
Speaking of books, once you've read them any point in keeping them? And can you increase your carrying capacity?
Yeh suppose it is a similar system to Fallout 3 - DeathClaws were solid to begin with, but by the end was almost 1 shot kills to finish them.
Just scared with sooo many locations I will forget to revisit some places I have been.
Thanks mate but the guide didn't work. Spent 3 hours on the phone to BT too and no joy (except me wanting to throw my phone at the wall - imbeciles!)
Next steps? Short of cancelling my contract not sure what I can do?!?
Currently rolling at level 8 Dark Elf, specialising in destruction and single handed weapons, going to use more heavy armour to become more of a tank though. My only companion died and I lost my horse in a forest somewhere (here boy!!!)
So far, amazing game...but had a few random encounters and...
Yes after 4 games last night just felt shallow. Yes I like the franctic pace but all the guns seem pretty similar, and the game itself just feels like MW2.
Yes mate it is...works fine when I am playing by myself (not like that!!!) just when I am in a party. Got to the point now where I want to throw it out the window.
And no disrespect to the people in the Indian call centres but they don't seem highly trained enough to sort things out.
Played MW3 last night and realised why I prefer BF these days - although the world seems to have gone mad though as my friends claim the graphics are superior on MW3 compared to BF3 and that MW3 i2 "much better" because they don't die as much?!
A BT issue with NAT settings which is driving me MAD! Basically it is always on strict and none of the advice on the BT website works. I have spoken to an Indian chap in a call centre which set it to open for about a minute before he "improved" this, and then it was back to strict and he...
Tanks and other land vehicles I have no problem taking out...C4, RPG, stingers, mortars or even just grenade launcher attachment. I know you didn't like the laser darts in BC2 but I actually thought that system worked pretty well.
AK yes sniper seems hardest to get points with and seems harder...
Yes I don't think I have got ANY XP from the AA installments yet, there only seem to be a couple in the game and in poor locations - where are they all?!?!
