I think racing blue is the one colour that can't get away with coloured wheels, you want to bring the blue out & contrast it, I'd say be a boring arse and go matt black
Well it would just be black plastic, like the fog light surrounds and mirror base plates so think they would look ok.
Think I might look into them as 'could' possibly suit the car
Lol, this guy was convinced it was fact as I was suprised, stops the cars corroding quite so quick
They weren't full on dragging along the road rally flaps, just plastic moulds
Apparently cars in scotland have to be sold with mud flaps / guards, met a lad at NWP who had bought a 182 from scotland who had renault mud guards on, also the cars have to be fully undersealed due to the harsher winters, again he said it was for all cars sold out of scotland.
Any truth in...
I saw this at PVS last year, stood their saying to my mate 'I aint into all this chrome engine bay sh1te, it's all about purpose for me', looked up and he was stood there :dead: lol
Yeh mate, bit of a ball ache in that I was expecting to be able to mount the seats directly to the car, when it came to it i realised it was going to look a bit of a mess & wanted to know everything was tight so fitted my standard seats back in (by this time I had the seats all out), went to buy...
Yeh that's why I went for it, I thought picking a wheel and seats would be easy but it was very hard lol, spent quite a bit of time searching for the right combo, very nearly went for red harnesses aswell but decided agaisnt it, glad I did now.
Lol what do you want normal shots of mate?
Fitted my OMP Trecento Wheel, OMP Boss Kit & Cobra Suzuka Pro seat on Cobra Aluminium side mounts and OMP subframe.
Also OMP 4 point harnesses.
I'll be updating my progress thread later with a few more pics and tales!
Couple of quick outside photo's (a dirty...
Ive had mine in for 3 weeks now and they're fine, I don't see why people struggle to reverse as you should only need to use your mirrors anyway.
Comfort they're fine, only problem ive found is trying to get out of the car, you need to have the door open a fair bit as it's hard to hold it...
Update:
New wheel is on, I've repositioned the circular disc so that the marker goes from blue to yellow, I've also had it on the Renault Clip system but it wouldn't reset.
Anybody any idea as to why that would be? Seems hard to believe the angle sensor itself could be physically broke but...
Yeh but in front of that there is another plastic ring that spins with it.
The indicators were working fine when I put the standard wheel back onto the broken ring (although I had the ABS & ESP lights).
Now the new boss is on there is nothing on the boss that i can see what would do anything...
Just fitted omp wheel with omp boss kit, took it out for a drive and the indicators aren't cancelling.
Looked at the standard wheel and at the back there are two wings which I'm guessing knocks a switch.
Due to a balls up last week the plastic ring that sits behind the wheel got snapped off...
I had my concerns about the flocked engine bay when he first got it done but it has stayed amazingly clean even over the winter, I think on a clio it wouldn't stay so clean as the bay isn't as tight so more crap can float around.
As you can imagine though that bonnet is never closed :boring: lol
My mate has the Ph2 160 (not sure if it's mechanically different) and there is very very little in that and my 182 on the straights.
So suprised you find there's alot of difference between the two, either your mates is fooked or my mates is a bit of a freak lol (mine seems to be where it...
Did mine at weekend without problems, rubber spacers left in, washer under the bolt head and used the standard brass nuts that hold the standard seats down.
Pics might help mate
Who's Shirley?
Of course it's easier, you've got a fixed stud that you can slide the wheel straight onto, rather than trying to balance as you position bolts.
If they weren't easier OR safer then why would any car, any where be using them?
