on the subject of clio consumption, my 172 needed no oil for the first 36k, then then 1litre every 3k after that. dont think its had an issues as the same owner still has it who bought it from the dealer.

182 wise, the cup is the cheaper version, there are no real benefits unlike the 172cup. 182cup, has dynamique cloth interior, no Xenons, AC instead of CC, no renaulsport steering wheel, rear bench is not split and no headrests... think that pretty much it and is only a fraction lighter.

to be honest, to me it would cry out that the car had a rear end shunt....
