Best VFM all round IK i ever fitted was a Viper. Noise was awsome, car did pull better, far better than my old Magnex exhaust did, and the sound was amazing.
Stock ph1 air box was sh1t. Cant understand why folk get all wet over it
No different to fitting a full performance exhaust on the F4R. You get bugger all gains for the same price all be it more 'weight' for your dosh ;)
Each to their own at the end of the day. The only folk who moan about the cost of Maxogens are the ones who dont have one
Cold weather drops the mpg but come on, its hardly winter! Lowest its been is 5 degree so far lol
MPG drop is probably to do with the weight of the wolley jumpers you soft folk are wearing :rasp:
What were you expecting?? magic dust to come flying out the box :S
You wont find many disappointed Maxogen owners but dont expect 30 bhp from it, your paying for a quality fit , qualitly build, as well as optimum performance (when set up and in conjunction with other breathing mods)
Come to think of it your right. From distant memory 2 of the holes line up so the other 2 would need to be taped.
Easy enough job at a push although the lack of ICV would be more of a prob. Could drill the mounting area as its just blanked off out but could be tricky getting the fit for the...
You guys must be hooligans in the wet with the Parada's ;) - Can honestly say, other than when they only had 30 odd miles wear, the grip in the wet is the same as the Eagle F1's if not better!!
Heard all the stories about the wet weather thing before and thought i was risking it buying the...
Makes no odds on that front as the TB's are all the same fit cable or fly by.
Only differences i think are the breather set ups. Do ph2s run the ICV the same?
Im sure im running a ph2 set up. They got a bit mixed up when modding and then polishing so might not be :o:o
Ah you must mean the spring kit part, manifold to cat.
On a stock system it should last at least a couple of years before blowing so my guess is someones not tightend it up right or bodged fitted it lazily.
Yeah, Busta Rhyms version tho
I love the fact they just go out and hunt a race with such confidence. Thats old 'skool':cool:
BTW, is that a spliff he's smoking half way through the vid?
Happens by accident in my case due to the type of roads the car gets driven on. Cant complain about driving to a personal freshhold and still returing blinding mpg levels
I dont know because i never run the tank out but like i said, the mpg never drops below mid 30's and averages in the 40's on the weekly run too and from the gf's and thats spirited driving and drop down overtakes
^^I dont buy that.
Exhausts get hot, moisture would soon burn off and in anycase, if your heat wrapping its gonna be on a stainless exhaust, not stock, with stainless welds perhaps? which dont rust
Washed mine for the first time in 2 months yesterday.
Within the space of a hour it got shat on by a bird then it pissed it down. Drove it to the GF's and ended up coming back in a worse state than before i washed it.
Yeah. I think Cosworth ownership is more of a long term relationship thing rather than a simple car purchase.
Bit like having a bird. You know its going to cost a lot and give you lots of hassle but you still take it on anyway haha
90 quid did a 182 mani. Full system is a fair old distance like. Obviously your 1'' ebay sh1te will be cheaper
Save your dosh fella. Non of the bigger boys are doing this lark :)
