Ooooo dont cut the middle man where that exhaust is concerned. I did just that and ended up with a bitchy email from JP
Their under contract to Yozza anyway so cant supply
In terms of the bore size yeah.
2.5'' bore is the standard SS aftermarket bore size used by just about all the tuners and zorst makers for the Sport Clios.
Some will say a 2.25 bore is just as good but id stick with a 2.5'' for a 'gain' and to match with future potential engine upgrades you...
Its just a 8'' roughly in length pipe with the flange on which bolts to the cat. Slides into the centre section.
Just gives the exhaust more adjustability plus is really handy for 182 manifold conversions as if your link pipe is a bit out all you need to do is slide the pipe in or out a bit...
You wont go too much wrong with the Ktec. Has the option of a 182 manifold upgrade too with it being the only one with a adjustable front telescopic piece so good plus point there.
There's also the GDi one which isnt on that list and could be worth a look.
All the 2.5'' bore exhausts (not...
Dosent mean a thing. He could have the wrong size tyres on or it might not have even been a 172 (out going Clio's run a narrower track than Sports versions)
There is a 14'' OZ wheel in the Clio line up. Think it was bolted to the ''172 look'' van and the optional extra parts list for general...
It would have to be pretty s**t oil to cause engine damage, basically water so tbh different brands being claimed to be better than others imo is a load of crap unless your a touring car doing 10 thousand rpm every 2 mins
The important bit is the correct grading not the brand name
The 182 cat does not fit unless you were to butcher it but then you have the problem with the internal material too so not really a option.
Try something like a Vauxhall or Rover cat as they have a smaller silencer part. All you need to do is get some flanges made up to mate with your system...
Thats all very nice but a member on here ran a 14.2 second quarter mile with one on. Can you explain why that was if they are so bad and restrictive on the F4R ??
Your relying heavily on your RS tuner to give you all this info. Could it be the fact that the tuner box was generic mapped on a...
Figures from this year based on a average outing:
Car: ph1 172
Best MPG: average best 46
Worst MPG: average worst 35
Engine Mods: cams, headwork, inlets, 182 mani, SS zorst, maxogen remap etc
Average MPG: 41
Car gets used once or twice a week usually, used on fast A roads, duel...
Iv had a ph1 air box, Viper and a Maxogen.
Airbox was s**t IMO , Viper was the best VFM till the foam tore and i had to stick it in the bin. £230 down the drain. Wont have that prob with the Maxogen.
Spend your money on your needs and what your wanting from your car.
Not much point...
I know you rate the Viper Fred. Now this is a piece of kit thats only 100 quid cheaper than a Maxogen.
Im guessing youve seen a Maxogen? Leaving the peformance difference aside the quality of the Maxogen kit, design and look of the kit is easily worth 100 quid more alone! and thats before you...
