Thats weird.. I would say mac's are made for intelligent people.. They just work and dont get any viri or spyware or crap like that.. and its os is based on unix.

Ye, just do it yourself.. it really is a piss easy job.. To change both shocks.. 10-15 min tops. Make sure the rear springs are still seated properly though after you have attached the new shocks and are lowering the car back down.

You only need to forward one port.. one of the other ports is for web vnc, dont know what 5500 is for though, but you dont need it.

Sony are working with the linux developers to get working wifi, i would imagine it wont be long before bluetooth keyboards and mouse are supported aswell.

VNC is very insecure, but also very convienient. There are plenty of other convienent secure remote desktop software out there.

The 'running in' period is 100-200 hours from new, you dont HAVE to do it but it will provide you with better pictures in the long term and prevent any image retention. Basically take it out of dynamic mode, lower the contrast (thats a bigger) and brightness etc. There are many guides on...

There certainly is ways to convert hdmi to dvi. dont know if there is an official lead for it though.

Dont get me wrong, SED could end Plasma and LCD technologies for sure.. and I really hope it comes to fruition, I just don't think its going to happen as quickly as they make out.. or if they do they will be very buggy and crap till the 3rd-4th gen (Kinda like plasma really heh)
