For some reason my most visited sites like ebay etc wont load up. No error message shows, just that small circle thing keeps spinning round and round (the loading in process button)
Any idea's ??
Im running Windows Vista. Deleted the tempory internet files and cookies but still wont work...
This was a saturday morning some 6 months back during their ''stated'' office opening hours. I tried it online, never got a quote sent at all so rang them up, from memory it was something stupid like press this button if you have a modded car blah blah blah then nothing would happen.
I didnt...
I tried 5 times to get a quote with this company. Filled in the computer details, wouldnt give me a price, rang them up and couldnt get hold of them through the automated system so gave up and went with Elephant
^^^Not sure about that one. Its just the picture angle? RS Turbos have much bigger bolsters and there's no difference from side to side
Even tho its clearly a passenger seat by the position of the seat buckle, should still fit it the same as if it was a drivers one
Its still £4000 too expensive and under its mint-ness lies a bog standard XR2i
If it was a mk2 XR2 or RS Turbo, even a Escort XR3i it would be in much much higher demand
If that 172 mani sells for 50 sheets im gonna lump all my old ones on the bay geeezzzz
Its worth fitting if yourplanning on being a long term Clio owner and who wants to match it with other mods like cams inlets etc etc etc
Rough guide:
Remove the bolts on the front of the plenum (spelt wrong lol), 10mm socket
2 bolts also located at the back of the engine either side of the coil pack.
Unplug sensors and TB cable if required depending on the access you can get.
Very easy job fella
Might make a difference especially if the lad does a search and then ends up taking half his engine to bits because he read he had to take his ''inlet'' off to get to the plugs lol ;)
Yup, inlet is indeed the bottom part, plenum (spelt wrong) is the top bit :o
Been running Apex for donkeys on the Clio and still waiting for this ''harsh ride'' thing :S
Maybe its to do with someones sexuality whether they think their too hard or not :rasp: ;)
How on earth have you managed that ??
Iv seen the end result of many a front ended Clio and never seen a fuel rail parted from the engine other than cracked
Ah but your still sucking through the same size straw no matter how big the filter area is ;)
Its the flow and flow temp thats the key area to a good IK set up and of course a decent flowing filter
Take the Maxogen. All it is is a 50 quid foam IK in a carbon box. Why its good is mostly due...
There's a IK kit on the market for a CTR that has a sort of port hole think sticking out of the slam panel that looks pretty subtle but does the same kind of job.
No difference other than noise.
Its only a cars cat converter that has internal properties inside the bore of the pipe (hence the advantage of a decat, no restriction)
Your already a 100+ bhp down from a 172 / 182 before you even start this!
Add up the cost of a standalone (1k ball park figure fitted and mapped?) plus all the other bits for the conversion and you wont be far off 3k and still off the pace of a 172.
It would be miles better in theory
Think of all those twists and turns of the intake track eliminated for a start off.
Issue would be the looks of the bonnet cut
From what you say in the post about it running rich, hot and a rattle at 5k, seems like that points in the direction of a problem rather than just a standard car on a realistic set of rollers
^^exactly. I'll have to get the 'how to' pics back up from a couple of years back lol
Its easy enough to do and is a 100% fix unlike the rest like blocking this cat hole here that cat hole there etc etc
