Your sucking more air in with a IK so of course theres the potential for a flat spot. Thats why folk map cars to iron out dips and flat spots, set up and match fueling etc
Re-set the ecu (disconnect the battery) for half a hour.
What are the bucket seats like to live with? Are they a pain in the bottom and back lol on a long journey?
Also do you not find the back end goes twitchy and light as hell under heavy braking ?
800 quid quote came from a lad at the top of the thread who somehow got involved with double cat talk :S :clown: :dead: douhhhhhh
ATS is sh1te. The reason the performance is down is you will have a pea shooter of a pipe bore fitted and the quality is crap hence the noise.
If your after...
Lad i know had a 180, reckoned it was terrible on the fuel.
On the plus side it saved his and 2 mates lives after crashing into a woodland area at claimed silly speeds.
Your problems are down to the LED lights. The car is rebelling lol
If your selling remove the tat as it will be more appealing in standard trim.
Bad time to sell a car tho just now
You have to set them up right, re-set the ecu or mapping ideally.
Fred got 13 brake from one and GDi had theres on running well over 200 bhp back in the day
Bring it back out if it has the one inlet as its exactly the same as the Espace lol
ph1 172 box = 2 x 1,5'' inlets (roughly that size)
V6 box = 1 x 100mm inlet
Both same box design
Mega bad time to sell a car just now so not what its worth to you :(
Have a hunt through Autotrader, Pistonheads and dealer websites to gauge a price on a similer car to yours
Iv got a ph1 172 so slightly different to a Cup but back seats weigh a fair bit and also the front seats are pretty heavy.
There was a lad in the project section a while back (cant remember the topic or the name) who was stripping just about every single bit of the car bar the paint lol and...
Try it the other way about, running on Vpower then switching to normal unleaded.
Belive me, there is a difference a big difference
(Clio sport models not 1.2's)
LOL i know what you mean
I cant remember exactly without hunting out the reciept plus it was a fair few years back now but roughly 40 quid cheaper than the carbon at the time, 320 or something like that.
It is a lot of money yeah but you would make half it back if you come to sell, its...
Heres it pointed out to you in the shape of whats bolted to my own car (see photo). You just need to ask them..
I know what the difference is. These topics have been done to death but folk seem to think that because the Renault item looks like a Maxogen it is a Maxogen!! :S The filter system...
Open IK tucked in behind the headlight ?? :S Thats what the ph1's racers used to use :rasp: infact, Palmer Sport bolted their IK straight off the TB
Just replying to your edit ;)
Thats no where near right surely.
Stock 172 runs roughly 168bhp at the fly. At the wheels that figure is roughly 133 - 135 area so to say a Clio with 160 @ the wheels = 175 @ the fly simply dosent add up :S
No its not, its a lot higher. My was measured at 167 @ wheels and thats 195 - 197 @ fly according to Fred and a couple of others who did the convertor
Are you meaning bhp or kw??
