Don't even bother. Black is the worst colour for showing up imperfections in lacquer, and roofs are one of the worst places for showing up imperfections aswell. Just wait, save the cash, get it done properly.

Yeah that's it, your colour code is D69. "Gris Platine" is the name Glasurit gives me.

Bit hard to tell from that pic, I'd usually say Gris Boreal but it looks a bit to silvery for that. Open your drivers door, take a picture of the white sticker on the inside of the B pillar and post it up here and I can tell you what it is.

They're both 4x100, but the wheel fitment guide I'm looking at reckons the E30 has an offset of 15 to 20, whereas the golfs have offsets of 35 to 42.

There's a white 1.2 near me which runs about with red wheels, huge red sparco mudflaps and he's painted the grille bright red. It's also about 50 ft off the ground due to being on huge wheels. Me and my mates LOL everytime we see it, complete and utter disaster.
