Thanks for that Daniel doesn't help it happened around christmas I'm just hoping its just the inner tie rod thats bent
Here's a pic I took before of it
Cheers Steven
Got the track rod today will fit it and take it easy to my mechanics where he can give it a full once over It looks easy enough to fit if not looks like my cars being broken for parts and I'm not driving anymore.
No car is nO job no job is no money no money is no car and so on...
There is plenty of guides in the guides section mate but you need to be a Clio sport member. On the other hand there is a video on YouTube showing you exactly how to do it from opening the dials to soldering the LEDS on

Edit
Ok after my bump I've just found time to take the airbags out now the passenger easy as pie but the drivers my god what a hassle!? The orange clip on the back of the unit appeared to be sealed with some orange sealant or so I thought it appears to have melted the clip to the back of the airbag...
It's not a 172 mate it's just a 1.2 with a 172 kit on it :P
I'll have a look when I get a new rod I have lost my locking but key though I know that I'm having no luck wih this car! How do I get a locking nut off without a key?
As on my previous thread how do I replace the whole track rod not just the ends as mentioned in my previous thread it's absolutely f*cked I mean 60-70 degree bend in it hub side at least need to replace it to get my car to a mechanic to check it over further
Cheers

Been looking air bag 20 a piece and looked this morning at it in the light it appears a bolt has sheared from the bottom? So we are going to stick a bolt in the hole and see then the alloy has taken most of the force
I do only have £30 a piece bargain tyres on I guess really couldnt afford anything else at the time (nor can I afford repairs really lol)
So if the parts are sourced from a scrap yard my mechanic knows the owner and forever gets stupidly big discounts from?
As the title says,
ive just taken a corner at my normal speed (35 ish on a 40 road) the corner is fairly sharp and was wet. Now unfortunatly the back end went light and swung out I managed to get it back in but in the process my front end decided to follow what the back end was doing so the...
Sam,
If you get stuck with set wiring I can get you (although rather limited) Wiring diagrams as I have Renault Diolagys so I have most workshop manuals and diagrams from Renault (The main wiring loom isn't really something I can get though) but other things such as dash components, speakers...
Take the top of the dash off and cowling around the steering column (3 torx screws) then you can remove the dials and the clock/radio from there its a matter of disassembling them and modifying. The clock/radio is just an orange filter of light if memory serves?
