Drivers air bag wire melted!?

Ok after my bump I've just found time to take the airbags out now the passenger easy as pie but the drivers my god what a hassle!? The orange clip on the back of the unit appeared to be sealed with some orange sealant or so I thought it appears to have melted the clip to the back of the airbag when it went off. Now I've took the airbag out off the clip by shear brute force the clip was destroyed when I tried prising it off with a flat blade screw driver.

Please tell me Renault do the replacement wire with the orange clip on? Or am I fked anyone had this clip problem before?

Trouble is what are those other wires? It's just the orange clip on mine no other wires there. Will it fit a mk2 ph1? 2000 clip
