When folk say its best to bolt it in i take it its held in by bolt and locking nut ??
What size bolt does it take ?? and is it a simple job or is it suspension out so as to get access to tighten the nuts ??
Do OMP do them in black ??
My mate's standard Suzuki Swift GTi did a 12 second quarter at Crail !!!! pmsl. Must a been a fault somewhere me thinks.
Again its one of those swings and roundabout type topics. One thing that cant be argued with tho is the Megane has miles more tuning potential.
Cant speak for a standard car but the service guy at my local Renault dealer took my 'non standard' mk1 172 for a blast and he said it was miles quicker than his 225 Megane Turbo. He said he was well impressed !!
I havent tried it with the standard air box on tbh.
On cold start its perfect, its just when the thing gets warmed up it all happens.
I cleaned out the idle control valve and the throttle body is cleaned up too. Also i havent got a gasket prob cos the engine cuts out when i hold my hand...
Ive got white speedlines on my silver 172.

Are there any shift lifts on the market that just light up one bulb sort of thing rather than like the above picture's build up of lights if you know what i mean ??
I had one of those Green ones to begin with. I ripped it to shreads trying to feed it up through the wee hole behind the head light lol so i got a unnamed one from motorsport world.
There's something wrong if you dont get a noise from one. I get a right rip from mine.!! Was quieter when the cold air feed was connected but it still made a quality noise :-].....now with not having it connected folk can hear me coming a mile off !! its well good lol
