I used the supplied bracket and had problems with it still.
Not to the extent of making a complaint tho as i just fiddled about with it.
Happily i sold it on although still have the centre section.
Really good exhaust only let down by the weight and that horrid back box choice
Folk dont know how to fit them right thats the problem. Decent CAF and ideally map the car to get the best out of it.
My old Viper sounded wayyyyyy nicer than the current Maxogen and the performance difference isnt much at all tbh.
Viper gave a noticeable performance gain over the...
From point to point blasts and hard on the brakes is when i found it kinda dangerous come scary lol
Think it caught me a bit off gaurd. This was a while back tho
Good pointers there on the tyre pressures at the rear. Not sure if that would help under hard braking but worth a try
A while back when i took the rear seats out of my 172 i noticed that it was rather twitchy especially under braking. Didnt feel that safe tbh
Im in a position now that i wont be needing the rear seats of the Clio and as ive modded the car as far as i can go without resorting to forced...

I just replaced the wipers with the 'spoiler' type blades yesterday but it still does it.
Why would anyone want to go out and buy a car that everybody else has got? Scoobys are dull yawwwwnnnnn.......
Its seeing video's like that, that make modding a Clio worth while
Light will probably come on what ever you do. Ive had mine plugged in, taped up etc etc and the light always ended up coming on.
There does seem to be rare cases tho where it never comes on on some cars..
Mine was creaking. Oiled up every bush under the car i could find.
Few days later noticed it had a broken tensioner pulley. Got it sorted and its never creaked since so not sure if the dealer touched on the creak when they sorted the tensioner or if the tensioner was the creak!
Worth...
The thing is mine is a metal one !!! being the 2nd alternator ive had on my car.
Its got a chunk out of it the kind of size of a 10p from what i could see.
I cant see how a metal pulley can crack bits off like that. Im wondering if its something to do with the fitting of the tensioner i...
Just had a lucky escape. Aux belt just snapped right outside my house due to a cracked Alternator pulley.
I have a few questions.
1st up, can i buy just the alternator pulley without having to buy a whole new alternator??
Also, ive just had the tensioner changed by Renault last month...
