In preparation for getting the PC looking at polishes...I have heard Menzerna range is good by PC. I will mainly be working on cars with light swirls/ cobwebs, so was thinking of the Final Polish II and Finishing Touch Glaze... will this be sufficient? Also, just to clarify, if I purchase Sonus...
I see... I got the codes from 182 Blue too! He said that you could use it on the PC until the end of this month though? Well, 10% off is better than nothing.
Where did you get your transformer from in the end? Have heard some wildy varying prices... my mates thinks I can get one for £26 but I...
Ah fair play... main thing is it's fun and makes you smile... I like the VX Turbo a lot. I know it's more expensive, but would opt for the Exige if I was in the market for this kind of car. Black with black wheels...mmm.
Ha.. GOOD! Yeh it felt really quick the one I went in, especially with the roof down. I guess it's because you are so low down. It is a light car though, I like the concept of it. Prefer the VX though... why the change if you don't mind me asking?
I use WG but that might take the EGP off as it has some cleaners in it. I top up the WG with Collinites 476 and really does work great as well as looking very glossy. Having clean wheels really does make a huge difference in the overall look of the car and is often overlooked. Arches too...
All that is important from my experience is applying wax in straight lines rather than circular for a more even surface coverage and apparently bonds better to the surface below.
Can't really see how the direction you apply in really makes a difference but could be wrong, may well be...
Sounds ok, I can get a 10% discount thanks to a CS member though... 15% if I order before the end of March. Nice!
Which pads you opt for? Will probably go for the Sonus ones I think, and Menzerna range of products.
They look a lot better in the flesh, very solidly put together. I can see why people don't like them as they aren't exactly subtle, but a wicked piece of kit that destroys most other cars. Good engine note too.
Personally I like the wheels. The only design criticism I have is the colour of the...
Are Autopia able to supply tansformer too or have you bought this separately? I heard that some people have been stung on import duties too, this happened to anyone on here?
So you have kind of gone to town recently then lol!
I tend to buy products one/ a few at a time so I can notice the differences compared to the old ones I used. But, if you don't have any I suppose that could be a problem.
I am DEFINITELY going to order a PC as soon as my new card arrives...
You can use different sealants over each other, but probably easier just to find a decent one and layer that up. I want to the M Sealant again as I was quite happy with it last time I used it in the Summer, but durability was quite weak. The Blackfire sealant is meant to be good but don't really...
I would say that being a member of Royalty was probably the furthest away... but Debs is definitely sufficiently far away to make me pleased to be a man.
She did win the Fittest Member of CS I started a while ago too if I recall correctly, there was this rough girl who was trying for Miss UK...
I can clearly see that from your fashionable attire and natural looking tan (as opposed to a bright orange one!) and lack of oversized hoop earings!
It was intended as a compliment...congratulations on having good genes. Natural selection works wonders...
Yeh can be a bit nerve racking, especially on already weak Renault build! Would personally stick to the AG Engine Cleaner with a brush and light hose rinse off.
I see what you mean! And I thought all the girls on this site were chavs or Tom-boys... how wrong I was!
It feels inappropriate to do any sharking on this forum though... but on the general forum, you will no doubt feel the predators circling by your ankles! ;)
I have pressure washed plenty of engine bays before and none have broken in any way. Key is not to aim at any componenets. I normally just use it to clean the edges and the fabric on the underside of the bonnet itself. You can then, standing a few feet back, give a light spray over the engine...
Car detailing was getting slagged on the general forum yesterday. Although they chose to mock the Corsa forum for some reason... Rich got some lambasting though! At least we don't complain about council tax, broken relationships or what we are doing at 5am in the morning...:approve:
Chemical Guys 50/50 wax is definitely the best wax I have used in that price bracket, think it is £25, available from Car Wash N Wax (see sticky at the top of the forum).
