Its not a case of having one or the other, they are two disctinctly different mods that do two distinctly different things......
It may not be for everyone, but if youre serious about making your car handle with precision it should be on your list.
Anyone else comment? I cant be the only one...
Ive checked everywhere and the super 1600 is completely different. Theres no chance the struts will fit :-(
In fact theres little chance anything mechanical will fit....
BTW, Ive had a similar experiences with R-Sport....

I did some digging a while back and came to the conclusion of compomitive magnesiums are the only rim to offer any sensible weight loss....

I used avo (chassis dynamics) r40/f35 on my mk2 172 and to be honest it was too much. The shocks couldnt cope. Ive heard good things about Eibach though.... (Ive used them on BMWs in the past and they are excellent quality but pricey - AC Schnitzer rebadge Eibach!)

My friend has an Evo6 pushing 310bhp on a T plate (running optmix). With him two up and me with my stripped (and I mean bare! - one seat, no door cards etc....) mk2 with a realistic 185bhp+ no cat and optimax + octane booster, until 3rd gear there was very very little in it! he couldnt pull...

The full set including anti-roll bar should be around the £70 mark (rough guestimate) fitting will be on top of that.... If you know what youre doing I think itll take about 3 hours, if not it could be £150ish for a dealer to fit them.
