is the noise comming from the rear axle area? this seems to be where they snap (my old 1 snapped there so a sleeve was fitted - out of warranty so i had to pay)

hmm - their price guide says from £85+vat for a bumper painting? shouldn't need blending into wings with a bumper paint - would do if it was a door being painted though tell them you don't need it blending in - if they get a proper colour match it shouldn't need doing

not sure as i didn't try ( i just tried to get the pod to sit in properly so removed it and altered the spring clips). i guess you could try a thin rod or coat hanger pushed down from above, when you get it poking out at the bottom tape the wire to it and pull it up

yep i pulled the pod out as it wasn't sat in properly to start with pull it upwards 1 corner at a time, ther are 4 metal spring clips holding it in - don't pull too high as the wires plugged in for the clock
