Hi, I have a new mk3 clio currently with the standard speaker set up (5.25" door speakers and tweeters only), with a Sony CDX-GT30RN headunit. I would like to upgrade the speakers as I feel they're quite poor, and add 5.25 co-axials in the rear sides (where the grilles are in place).
However I'm not sure how to go about the front speakers, as how would the tweeters be replaced in the dash and connected up to crossovers etc (if I was to go for components). And should I just replace the door speakers with co-axials, would this not mess up the sound with high range sound coming from the standard tweeters AND co-axials. And is the wiring in place for rear speakers despite the car coming without speakers there?
I've also read what alot of people have said and it seems its well worth amping the speakers all up. Obviously I will be paying to have it all professionally fitted, but didnt want to spend much over £200 for the equipment, what would you guys recommend? (front and rear speakers)
Thanks
