    Is this right? Cambelt tensioner

Both pulleys were loose had about 3mm clearance from the nut/bolt. Ive got the arrow and notch closer together now but the tab is still pointing at 1-2oclock. I've tried bolt old and new tensioners/belts and they have all done the same. I'm wondering if the head was skimmed at ALD when the head...

    Is this right? Cambelt tensioner

Just swapped the belt for my old one and the two points on the tensioner are moving the same as before. I'm guessing that the tensioner is faulty?

    Is this right? Cambelt tensioner

Hi guys, looking for some reassurance. I've just done my timing belt and it seems that to two points it says to aline get close to each other, then it runs out of travel on the cam and returns back to loose again. The pin is definitely in the slot on the back of it. I've got the two points as...

Mazda Performance Scone. Mazda 3 MPS Project Log

A friend of mine just got a 3 with a broken engine. Built it up over the last 6 months forging it and what not, took me out the other day and wow! Definitely plenty of torque, I think he said he was running it in at 300bhp then see what it will go to, don't think it's a stock turbo. Definitly...

Hey, I was going to update it during the week to say I got my head back from @ALD, but I left it till now cause I've done more. Got the head back on Thursday, and what a beautiful piece of workman ship. I cant believe how big the exhaust ports are now compared to the old ones. The knife...

Wilkinsons sell galvanized garden wire, I just used that to tie the ends, metal tie wraps were a bit pricey.

Cannot wait! I expect yours is pretty damn nippy then! Not sure if I'm going to need a remap when it's back together, it's currently on a standard map, was going to go for and rs tuner 98ron. But I'm thinking to get the most I'll probably need to go to rs tuning for a live map. Just...

    Twin cbr900 engined clio anyone?

I've seen this car in person. It's not too far down the road from me. The quality of the workman ship seems to lack quality in some area (i.e shabby welding and poor paint finish, but it's a 1.2 clio with 2 bike engines in the back. I would imagine for the money who'd bother buying something...

    One Piece Valves.

Sinus are proper single piece. When I emailed them last month they wanted $150 per valve! If Danny can get them for that price seems well worth it. I ended up with supertechs from Roland. ktec stock supertechs but £££££££ more than ED I think.

    Dip in torque 3500rpm

Just had a check of mine, looks to drop 5-7 lbft before rising again, the scaling on the graph you posted is similar however the peak torque after is a lot more than mine. Has the OP's engine got hotter cams by any chance? For ref.
