The rusting on the weld will be down to poor quality welding. The flow rate of the argon will prob be to low causing the weld to be contaminated.

Springs are well rusted all round and the rear top coils seem to be resting on each other. There is also a knocking sound from the rear and i think this is the cause. Not pleased at all! Only had them on a year and a half! Do Pi make a full kit because i have never seen this kit for sale...

so what is best? 40mm apex or 60mm spax? My Pi springs are fu**** and i need a new kit. Drive about 250miles a week so want a kit that aint going to scrub my 17" tyres! Would like to go 60mm but really need to know my tyres will not need replacing every 5000miles! What you guys say? Cheers...

in the garage! The braking system is not really touched. you are only opening the piston to remove the pads. no need to bleed the system of air.

The filter is prob easiest to remove by removing the front drivers wheel if using a jack. Its located just above the front right drive shaft. Its a black plastic filter.

I fitted the new 172 wheels which are 16" on my 1.2. The offset is different. The tyre rubbed on the back arch liners but was not to bad. Prob will fit but just check for clearance after fitting.

Just about to change my front pads on my 1.2 16v 2001 clio. Can anyone tell me the best way to tackle this. removing the full caliper from the strut or removing the top cover? Any suggestions would be great. Cheers

why would you need one the dash light will come on and tell you that lights are on!!!!!!!

spoiler aint that big it just the pic makes it look that big and for the wheels they are black chrome its the way ahead they are great as for the tints it is midnight at the back and on the sides smoke that the darkest they can be for legal of i would of had midnight all around like to do things...

Had this problem with my car for a few weeks. There does not seem to be any obvious evidence where the knocking can be coming from. It started of as a slight noise but has got alot louder. Really only apparent at slower town speeds. This is really puzzling me? Anyone any clues? Cheers Chris.

Mines was really quite as well! Anyone found there 1.2 16v piperx id makes the engine feel as if it is running lean. Had to take mines of as the car seemed really jumpy and unsure during acceleration in second and third gear. Chris.

I have them! Front fit no prob but back rubs a little when going round a right hand corner on the inner plastic arch. I cut a bit of the arch now and they are fine now. Not noticed any loss in speed.
