So there is no chance of water getting through the filter and reaching the engine? Would like to remove the cover as the filter still gets really warm. Just want to make sure nothing else can be effected!

If i remove the panel behind the grill to let more air get to my ik, will there be any problems of water getting to the filter and into the engine.

Got the same problem with my k-tec exhaust. Started blowing at the weekened. I even tried two clamps, works for a while then starts blowing again. I think it is due to the very shi*y rubbers. They are not strong enough making the back box bounnce alot, this constant flex will eventually burst...

Buy the kit from k-tec. They sell a rear valance and centre exit to suit. Means you can keep the spare wheel. Exhaust only £199 + vat. Chris

Fitted mine in five to. Had a little problem getting the samco hose over the filter but with a little extra force it just slipped over. Feels like it has a little more power up the revs but not as much at low revs, pulling away. For noise my k tec exhaust totally drowns it out. There no noise...

I think i fitted it correctly. Got a k-tec exhuast, maybe it is drowning out the induction noise. Will need to have another look at it. Does anyone have any photos of there piper x induction kit? Close ups when fitted to see if i have fitted it correctly. Cheers.

Jim, jus got the piper x s-spec filter from halfods. Not a peep out of it. No noise from it at all. Dont think K+N have released one yet for the 1.2 16v!

the best one is prob the koncept splitter from k-tec racing. Very deep and suits the clio bumper nice.
