Hi all, I have an old ACER travelmate 220, and it needs a new motherboard/cmos battery, its a normal CR2035 3v battery with a couple of tags and a small lead off it.
Does anyone know of a good laptop repair/supply service in the south east, as I hate ebay!!
Seems a shame to bin the laptop as it...
Reply to them and say your car will move from its current location, at aprrox 13.00 on a certain date (preferably a sunday), to be returned to its exact position at 13.30 on the same date, that gives them exactly 30 mins to clean that exact spot.
If they cannot do it in that time, then bad...
My old car, god I miss her desperately!!! She is looking good there Terry, so glad you have kept hold of it.
Thanks for messaging me, would love to see here again. Might join you at Brands in my blue one if I can.
Matt.
Hmmm. I might see if I'm back in time to swing past, will be doing a hillclimb/sprint with one of the clio's in the morning till the afternoon, so might still be in my stinky race overalls:S
Matt.
Clutch judder when you slightly slip it to pull away? fault with the cover diaphragm spring or warped center plate I'd say.
It needs to go back to them.
Possibly a tdc sensor and loom?
Check to see if it's had the later one fitted, should be blue in colour for the new one, black for the original one, located on top of the gearbox.
I must admit, the quality of the kit is really good, but wear gloves when winding the spring platforms by hand, the threads are cut not rolled, so are sharp.
Re: 182 doesn't run right for 1st few seconds after starting... only in the warm weat
Clean the throttle body? Or, ask Renault garage to see if its due an injection computer software update.
The twins are in Odessey blue I think....the one on the right in the pic is the daily runner and apart from dropped suspension, standard. The one on the left in the pic is Ricardos old car, and is soon to have jenveys.
My old R5 race car....
Now lives in car heaven, I wore it out! Fantastic little car and sorely missed....

Basically the walls of the chamber in the head were machined to the gasket line and got rid of some valve shrouding, this improved flow.
De-shroud the valves for a bit better flow....
Andrew cooke published some interesting results on RTIOC when he experimented with the head and inlets on the F4R.
