Mk1 185 Clio Racing Blue Hybrid

No, one of the treads is different in the axle, was such a long time ago I can't remember which one it is..... jaykay will probably tell us, or if the bloke he borrowed the pics from is on here too he may be able to clarify.......and yes, bolt pattern the same.

Mk1 185 Clio Racing Blue Hybrid

Heat up the stub, knock it out with a big hammer, cut the small flange off, grind/file it flat, modify the threads to accept countersunk bolts, bolt on 1*2 stubs with shims if you have some. Easy peasy! Did it to one of the R5 gt turbos we race and my mk1 16v.

    Wheel alignment - string method

String (fluo coloured fishing line) and a couple of aluminium rods cable tied to the front and rear sections ( with the clams off) worked fine with a ruler when I use to set this up (many moons ago).

Removal of rotating collar wheel nuts

Break out the mig welder for the locking wheel bolts .... Weld a nice big nut/hefty bolt to the locking wheel bolt, let the heat sink into the hub and breaker bar to remove. Easy when you've fine one it two, I've had to do loads in the past.

ClioSport 172, Misfire, intermittent 3 cylinders. Coil pack connection? HELP PLEASE!!

ClioSport 172, Misfire, intermittent 3 cylinders. Coil pack connection? HELP PLEASE!!

Re: ClioSport 172, Misfire, intermittent 3 cylinders. Coil pack connection? HELP PLEA Nope, as you open the bonnet and look at the engine, number 1 cylinder is closest to the gearbox/flywheel.....2nd from the left is number 3 cylinder.....number 4 is closest to the timing belt.

ClioSport 172, Misfire, intermittent 3 cylinders. Coil pack connection? HELP PLEASE!!

Re: ClioSport 172, Misfire, intermittent 3 cylinders. Coil pack connection? HELP PLEA When you say you replaced an injector on cyl no 2, you do realise that cyl no 1 is closest to the flywheel on these things? (Not teaching you to suck eggs obviously).
