If your on about doing it in your williams pal, There is a hole on the passenger side bulk head (when viewed from the engine bay) which feeds through to inside the car directly behind the glovebox. Your alarm cabling should already use it. Stick your head up and you should see it...

Got them from halfords, (ripspeed) and paid £20ish. Look loads better than the orange ones and match the car. Got email off him today, so were in buisness.

Yep your right Illusion.........that petrol gauge puts on a right spert once it gets to the last 1/4. I never run my that low that the light comes on. Did around 380 motorway and town driving to a tank the other month. Recon 400 miles could of been done with the orange light on.
