Many many years ago (17 years ago ish!) I had this:-
Despite being low mileage (27k when I bought it) and full Renault service history, it was an utter heap. Went through 2 gearboxes, shot a spark plug out the head, sheared inlet manifold bolts, the list goes on. So I sold it, quickly and...
Wow, from Leon Cupra to something even duller, an FN2 Type R. They make a great sound but they don't actually move. You'll be booting thinking, "dat noise" but then look in your rear view mirror and see Mavis is still behind you in her Daewoo Matiz wondering what all that racket is and why you...
I considered a Leon Cupra, found them a bit dull though tbh. They make a noise but it's not interesting, they look good from the outside, are quick and very tuneable but are just dull to drive, dull steering, dull engine. They also seem to rust from the ones I looked at and one my mate had. I...
Not that I'm bothered about mpg really, but the ecoboost isn't horrendously bad. Had a friend snap this, flat road, cruise control at speed limit, live mpg hovering around 40mpg. For a massive, heavy, petrol automatic that'll do 150+mph, I wouldn't class it as bad. Problem is that it's extremely...
Early mk4 mondeo had a na 2.3, that's what I'm on about not the frs 2.3 lol
Averaging 28mpg at the mo now, it'll do 40 on the motorway at 70 but problem is as soon as you accelerate or get to a hill, it drops massively again. Realistic figures are 25-30mpg. My previous mk4.5 mondeo was a 2.0...
This is a 2.0 Turbo making 240bhp, the earlier version was a 2.0 Turbo making 200bhp. Pre facelift was a 2.5 Turbo making 220bhp. 2.3 was just a naff engine, no performance.
Mondeo Titanium X Sport Ecoboost 240 is the full title, you'll struggle to find any for sale though. The pre facelift ones are a bit easier to find, but they're "only" 200bhp.
Colours ice white, flips from white to blue depending on lighting which is why it looks odd on some photos.
Already been looking into Bluefin, but I've a 12 month warranty with it so will just leave it standard I think for time being. Have got hold of a modified ELM327 to try and alter some...
Recently changed jobs and the new place has a much better company car scheme, meaning I could opt out with no restrictions on car choice and still have a fuel card. So naturally I ruled out anything diesel, anything under 200bhp and anything boring. I needed a huge estate for a family wagon...
I can confirm this to be correct. At a previous job some years back, someone bought one of these and he was late 50s, white, square brief case, suit and a Manager abeit, at a concrete factory not a paint factory.
Epic car though!
On Kilbourne Road, house which always seems to have interesting metal on the drive. Mostly 182/172s but sure I've spotted a Williams there, Valver and some other decent quick Clios.
Jealous, very jealous but I can't help but think its the wrong colour and the Coupe looks much better. However if you buy the Coupe you can't get the roof down to listen to that engine. With the convertible, I'd be driving everywhere with the roof down, exhaust value open even in the rain.
Probably not of interest to many on here, after all its no RS4 Avant, but its still one of the best looking estate cars you can buy today in my opinion.
I've had this for coming up to 2 months now and covered around 7k in it. Its a company car and my requirements were low emissions, space for...
This isn't Hotukdeals and if it was, people would be demanding receipt as proof, much like custard on a Evora. Therefore, pics of receipt or it never happened.
