Anyone have any experience of decent steering wheel mounts/frames? I’ve had the Logitech G29/920 wheel and pedal set sat around for ages and want to actually use the damn things 😂
Ideally something foldable, are the GT Omega ones still the go-to brand for this stuff?
Announced is not the same as available though, christ alone knows when there will be any actually out there even once they've been announced - which we still don't know yet.
I’m amazed they’re looking at releasing another card when the supply chain can’t cope as it is TBH, but there’s no downside for NVIDIA in being able to sell every chip they can produce. 3080Ti is a dead cert, was due this month apparently but now looking like February. There’s a big gap between...
I nearly just bought a 3090 FE. I have no idea why, they were back in stock and selling at NVIDIA RRP. I don’t need one, even a 3080 would be overkill. I must be getting old, since I resisted.
My OH used to have a 1.6 GT, they're a nice drive. Nothing like an RS in terms of driver focus, but to be honest that makes it a better daily driver. Plenty of fun to be had with that chassis and limited power, you really can drive it like you stole it without getting into (too much) trouble.
Oh god yeah, the errors in the buyers guides and reviews, plus the total lack of proofreading.... it's embarrassing. Just stinks of the whole thing being run on a shoestring to pull in the advertising $$$
I've had some success on there, but yeah I have a free classifieds account too. I'd check it for specialist stuff, think I might have seen the Zenos there originally but can't remember.
Honestly the whole site is a shadow of itself now, the forums have a worse sound to noise ratio than ever...
For 1440p gaming, 100% unless you really want to use the RTX stuff. Apparently it's less clear cut at 4k.
It's moot point because you can't buy any of them anyway. :ROFLMAO:
This is currently in stock at eBuyer but god knows for how long, if £1630 for a graphics card is your thing ;)

Matlab? Don‘t say that to me, I still get cold sweats from the memory of trying to get the effing thing to model the pumping of a heart back at uni. Maybe it’s improved since then, it was 28 years ago. Sob.
I'd say any programming job you're likely to get given a coding task of some sort during the interview process, it's more about hopefully proving you have the skills. You won't have direct commercial experience so no point in faking it.
What course are you using out of interest? I could do with...
Me six months ago:
Why the hell have I got all these network cables, it's not like I'm ever going to use all of them, I'll just hang onto a few.
Me today:
Ahhhhh...... b****cks........
It does depend where you’re at with the car. IMO I won’t notice 10kg of weight off the body of an 800-900kg car, it’s only going to be genuinely useful when racing. Where I might really notice it is when reducing unsprung weight, which primarily means wheels and tyres.
It’s almost a fetish to...
I thought about it back when I had my 182, but IMO you'd have to have the car completely sorted elsewhere, have moved on to a serious weight saving plan and be chasing every tenth of a second to make it worthwhile. I do get it, why lug around a heavy battery you don't need, but £100 is still a...
Normally I’d say apple refurb too, but the pricing is nonsense at the moment. An SE is a better deal, or if you want a really cheap one a series 3.
Amazon is only 100% safe if buying direct from Amazon IMO, although they will at least make sure you get your money back if it turns out you bought...
I still love all this s**t, but I do find it funny when people complain of difficulties in gaming at 4k 60FPS.... this was my first PC 3D graphics card :ROFLMAO:
Perspective is everything ;)
Looks like pretty much everyone likes the 3080. I was tempted, until I remembered I'm not really troubling my 1080 at the moment so what's the point :ROFLMAO:

Fake pads maybe? It's getting to be a bigger and bigger problem apparently. Do you still have the packaging?
