    A bit of retail therapy

Haha no worries. It's annoying for me too, I want to finish the car off proper but I need to get a house first :)

103db, might shave a bit off with the cat put back in but with their policy I don't really want to be booted out after one lap.

Noise limit mate, otherwise I would.

    A bit of retail therapy

ffs, I wish i never gave you that link!! lol I'll update it in a month when I can do some actual work on the car. No trackday booked, will be doing that this month. Will be looking to enter it into a Hill climb even with my mate, then hopefully stump up the cash to enter it in one or two tin top...

anyone build a "RS2 style" inlet??

Not worth it mate, I haven't written anything for quite some time. Give it a month or two and I will start to get the next phase of the build done.

anyone build a "RS2 style" inlet??

I'm running Jenveys now, the manifolds look mint in white so will get my ITB's done in the coming weeks :)

anyone build a "RS2 style" inlet??

3D Printing... I did look into this but the issue was the part size, you either need to find a specialist that will print it in one, or create sub parts and bond them together. Either way, the price was over £1k for a proper smooth finish and with correct materials. iir I was quoted £600 each...

anyone build a "RS2 style" inlet??

It didn't go for that in the end, it's still half the price of the JMS one.

anyone build a "RS2 style" inlet??

Yeah was me who had one made. It exchanged hands twice, would be interested to see if this has been installed and mapped. I think people buy these things and then sit on them unfortunately, then flog them on a few months later. If you are good with GRP, a custom airbox would make this thing work...

    Ferodo DS 2500 issue

I think it was Freddy that told me to put some heat cycles into them before properly hammering them on track or for road use, I think they need to be properly cured. The only issue I've ever had was using the 2500 compound on 4 pot willwoods. They only come with 4-5mm of material on so didn't...

    Ferodo DS 2500 issue

I've been using DS2500 & DS3000's for over 4 years now, not had any issues with them and I'm quite heavy on the brake pedal. Could this just be a bad batch? I'll check my current ones over the weekend.

How do I check if it's the service?

    Wireless router issues

I'm currently living back with my parents on a temporary basis, their router is a pile of filth (SKY SAGEM). It will often cut out or go from a half decent Mbps to nothing at all, my mobile struggles to pick anything up and often switches from wirless to 3G on a regular basis. I don't want to...

    ITB airbox design..

I've sent an email to Jenvey and will follow up with a phone call to Simon next week in regards to a bespoke angled spacer. I've been meaning to do this for a month but keep forgetting. As above, quite a few people see more losses with an airbox than running the standard foam filter. I'm looking...

Cheers mate, It now has a yozza exhaust :) Cooksport springs are going on this weekend so that I can run my 15" O.Z's then that'll be it mod wise.

    Difference between itb trumpet sizes

If you wanted extra length regardless of running 90mm or 120mm you can buy the spacers, I'm sure Jenvey will be more than accommodating to machine them with angle on ;) http://www.jenvey.co.uk/home/accessories/adaptors-and-spacers

    Difference between itb trumpet sizes

Yup, this is exactly what I did on my home made induction setup and it fit's snugly over the alternator and smaller rad, I could have squeezed an extra 25mm out of the overall length. The angle was done on the pipes so the plate was sitting flush with the Jenvey casting.

ITB Noise level - help needed on silencer

More or less, mine came with an aftermarket sports cat to fit a 182 manifold.

ITB Noise level - help needed on silencer

Quite the opposite, it's very lean! I have never heard it do any pops till the first track day with them and even then it was only now and again and they were small :) As per PM, I'm going to put the sports cat back on and do a db reading. I will also get a silencer made up in work and see if...
