Yes, but I have no idea why it wouldn't start this morning nor why the battery keeps draining. It's was only our of pure chance that I tried the tin foil and it worked. I tried re setting the ECU/UHC several times this morning, locking, unlocking and kept getting the clicky noise which I assume...
Lol, was worth a try and I like tin foil :clown:
In second position the red light goes on for a second then off, fires up and stays off. There is an engine management light which has always been on with the P120 code or something like that. All relay contacts were cleaned the other month both...
For the past few months I have had an issue with the battery draining even though brand new. The alternator is new (recon) so I can only assume something is draining it when the car is left off overnight?
There has been an ongoing fault for some time which I can never find the route cause of...

Yes they might be made there but this seems to be the UK stockist? A bit like Speedline in Telford are just a warehouse and sales office.

Might be worth PM'ing this chap as it wont be a million miles away from what your running.
Best bet will be to call Fred next week when he's back off holiday. It's an all steel component with needle bearings so well up for the job and not too pricey.
As far as I'm aware he used standard gaskets. There were no issues with the head being skimmed substantially apart from the belt being...
My engine is running those pistons with a heavily skimmed head and its well over 13:1cr. If you skim the head you might need a bigger idler pulley on the belt, Fred had to source one for me, its an upgrade from standard plastic Renault one :)
Just dug out an old email from Dan @ Mr Tyre... £120+VAT for 205/50/15 and £95+VAT for 195/50/15. This was Nov last year, have sent a follow up email and will call during the week as I need a new set soon. Love these tyres, it's just the price that put me off.
RSR's are very good tyres...
Clay bar and lots of time on your hands. You could use a mild cutting compound to take the top layer off.
Factory fitted these are printed on, not stickers btw.
Any tips on what to go for? Is it worth buying an in-car gauge too?
Oh, and im going to run megane injectors. Is it worth upgrading the fuel rail or stick with standard? Will be on a high comp engine with 438 cams.
Originally from Redditch, so common in his blood ;)
Did you get Lisa's number? She looks quite tidy! Cracking performance though considering everything leading upto that weekend!
Matt350. had them on his 172, 205bhp iir and seemed to drive well. If they are already in the engine then I'd leave them in unless your having a cambelt change or happy to throw money away :)
I've had issues with both cars since the start of they year (one now sold) so been using another car for daily use. Where is the Moat House and who is going?
